Maybe in the spring or summer Montefrio might be an...
Maybe in the spring or summer Montefrio might be an interesting place to visit but in the winter we found the town to be a little grabby, no interesting places to eat, not even a nice little square. The Castle up on the hill and the church are beautiful but the town itself left a lot to desire for us and did not meet our expectations at all. It was very boring. The views from the mirador were very nice though.

Historic and imposing rural town in Andalucia.
Historic and imposing rural town in Andalucia. Set in mountains in midst of olive groves as far as the eye can see. Good local typically Spanish bars and restaurants. Recommend Pregeneros . Clear night skies, sunshine and slow tourism

Montefrio is a quaint little mountain town with a great domed church and fantastic views. Most people just come for the day, but it is actually worth a stay. The Monteftur Apartments are right in the center and could not be more convenient. A few good restaurants in town.

Wonderful. The host, the casa, the facilities. Good room, good shower room and amazing gardens with a patio for every occasion. Very good kitchen and dinning room and living room. A nice plunge pool (that looks like a large fountain) with amazing views of the beautiful town of Montefrio. It’s a wonderful place and I would definitely recommend it and would love to visit again. Montefrio is a nice town.

I got to Montefrio by bus from Granada. The town has many up and downs. But this room is located close to the cathedral, so it is easy access from bus stop, even if you have a large luggage.
I can have a great view which includes two monument, a cathedral in fore sight and a church on the hill in the rear sight, from the spacious balcony. You should enjoy memorable time at dusk.

The apartment is extremely comfortable and very tastefully done , beautiful Spanish titles which I love . It is in a very convenient location once you work out the one way system . Easy walking distance to the Church and bars and restaurants . Montefrio is very hilly which could be a problem for some people .

We absolutely loved this beautiful tiny home with all its history and charm.
It was lovely and comfortable and had great views over Montefrio.
It is an experience to stay here if you are visiting the area and we would recommend.
