There is nothing around the hotel, but people come out to...
There is nothing around the hotel, but people come out to the hotel because it is build like a castle and is great for special events. We took a ride the Zaragoza which is still 25km from the hotel and I think for us we would have been better off finding a hotel in Zaragoza. The looks is what attracted us to the hotel but that might be a good reason for special events but not really as a travel destination

The information given about one of the plates for the dinner...
The information given about one of the plates for the dinner was inaccurate.
The was a 15€ (fifteen Euro!!) for charging a hybrid plug/in Volvo 40XE that takes 8-9 kWh. This exorbitant charge was not informed before chargingh, only at check out.

Wouldnt recommend this hotel.
Wouldnt recommend this hotel. Property tired and shabby ,outside space mesdy. Staff very unengaged. Didnt get the room we wanted but we were told it wasnt available however given we'd booked a month before this does not sound feasible.
No staff member in dining room at breakfast. Couldnt even get a decent cup of tea.

As we were travelling from Santander to the Costa Brava it was a great location for a stopover. The evening 3 course meal and breakfast buffet were excellent. The staff were friendly. We found the beds were hard and uncomfortable but that was a personal observation, may suit others. Very quaint hotel with a castle theme. Lovely gardens

Good breakfast, staff were very pleasant throughout. Room was a little late being prepared but not a big problem for us. The food is the restaurant was very good. There was a slight problem in that I had booked half board but the hotel restaurant does not open on a Sunday night. The staff were very accomodating and we ate lunch in the restaurant instead of having dinner in the evening. Parking available.
