What a beautiful hotel and location. Peaceful and spectacular scenery. Pedro the owner could not have been more attentive. His attention to detail in the design of his hotel is second to none making it comfortable, relaxing and stylish. The lounge is super cool with views over the adjacent valley and mountains. Our bedroom was equally comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. We also had dinner prepared by Pedro himself which was lovely too and great value for money.

Everything was perfectly clean and much more modern than what we were expecting. Kitchen was completely equipped including the largest frig that I have seen in Europe. And ice maker! Splendidly large yard with fruit trees. Nicely situated in a very small village in scenic mountains. Nice places to walk and hike nearby. Beaches and high mountains not too far away. Large town not too far away if you need major items, but we preferred the small weekly market in the nearby town. Hostess and her daughter could not have been nicer, welcoming, always accessible by text. We have stayed in a lot of Booking properties and this one is the best so far.

She was always available to answer questions, give recommendations and above all a sense of reliability that things would be in order upon arrival. You get a very authentic countryside farming region experience while staying here. In addition to the mountain views, every time you drive in and out you see cows, horses, apple orchards, hazelnut trees and faba bean plantations next to the rural winding road. Though not very densely populated, you dont feel isolated in the house either, and along with locals walking by the road from time to time you also have cowbells and church tower bells ringing pretty frequently. People in the village of San Roman and nearby areas (Valles, San Miguel, Argandenes, etc.) pretty much all know each other, but are welcoming to visitors if you are respectful. The towns of Infiesto and Arriondas nearby (10 minute drive and 20 minute drive respectively) offer good dining and grocery shopping options during a stay, and the area is no more than 40 minutes from many of the top places to visit in Asturias (Cangas, Covadonga, Tazones, Lastres, Playa La Griega, Oviedo, Gijon, etc).
