United KingdomVery large and comfortable room. The reception staff were very welcoming and let me store my bicycle overnight in the hotel. The room was a little dated but absolutely fine and a fan was provided. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Potes, which is beautiful. There are lots of restaurants and shops within metres. I’d certainly stay here again.

Fully renovated loft style with all the original features. Lots of space and good facilities / kitchen / towels etc. Really secure, quiet and nice views from the upstairs area. We came to Potes for a week of walking in the amazing Picos and were not disappointed, and Casa Raymonde was just the place for us. The host made us very welcome and was very helpful and attentive. Potes is a busy town with lots of shops, restaurants and...
Potes is a busy town with lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. It sits at the edge of the beautiful Picos de Europas National Park. Places like the Deva Gorge, the San Glorio Pass and Fuente De are within easy driving distances from the town. We were there for 5 nights in late spring, which is a little quieter than summer and also a bit wetter. But most days were dry and the temperatures were perfect for walking and exploring. The drifts of wild daffodils in the meadows near the San Gloria Pass are stunningly beautiful and wild orchids are common. We recommend a trip on the Fuente De Cable Car which will take you up to the snowy mountains with fabulous views. But get to cable car station early to avoid long queues.

Everything for all types of traveller - bikers, cyclists, walkers, and other types of tourist. Plenty of opportunity to explore the beauty of the Picos. There are any number of bars and restaurants, but the best is Asador Llorente - but book a table as it is very popular.

Potes is a great base for exploring the Picos de Europa, with a lovely small-town feel and plenty of places to eat and wander. It’s easy to get around on foot, and the surrounding scenery is outstanding. A really enjoyable stop, especially if you’re travelling through the mountains.

Charming town in the middle of the Picos with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes to choose from. We stayed there on a motorcycle tour and the roads are fantastic. The weather in early October was great for us, nice and warm and sunny. We loved it and will be returning.

Potes is a great base to explore the Picos de Europa.
Potes is a great base to explore the Picos de Europa. Good restaurants include the Mexican Las Mañantas, or for steak and cured meets Asador Llorente.
The two local supermarkets are well stocked but remember are closed on Sundays.

Absolutely great location to stay & explore on a motorbike.
Absolutely great location to stay & explore on a motorbike. Main thing to remember is to avoid the restaurants in the centre that are over priced with poor service & substandard food & are probably the downside of the entire region. There are an abundance of great cafes, bars & restaurant's all around the back streets & well worth exploring. This really is one picturesque town with allot to offer just take the time to find the gems & avoid the obvious tourist traps.

All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly, and they happily used Google translate to communicate successfully.
Great communal facilities, pool and communal kitchen and large area to chill in. Lots of games and puzzles- brilliant for families.
Stunning location, I never got bored of the view from our balcony. Easy to get to Picos Mountains in the car, and Potes is a 20 min walk from apartment. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in North Spain.

Incredibly convenient. Very comfortable beds, nice tasteful decor, plenty of space, and double (triple?) glazed windows that kept the noise out even when Spain won the World Cup. Free laundry was a godsent as well - and extra points for actually making the laundry room pretty and pleasant. Free parking just around the corner.

The place brings you a real experience of how is the life of the rural towns in Spain but in a modern context. The place is beautiful, well maintained, confortable and the views of the mountains are spectacular.
The hosts are super friendly and make you feel like you are their family.

The property is perfectly located in Potes, minutes from all amenities. Elena is the perfect host, very helpful and friendly and serves up a great breakfast. The property is motorcycle friendly, so if you’re planning a trip to Picos de Europa this is the perfect stay

This was a super comfortable hotel within walking distance to the town..and a delicious all inclusive breakfast every morning! Would recommend it without a doubt and stay next time I’m visiting Potes !
