Our room had character and was spacious, comfortable, well-furnished and clean. The whole place has a great vibe and is in the best position in town. The service and hospitality was outstanding and the food was excellent. Highly recommend.

The property itself is beautiful , lovely design, very cosy, warm (we stayed in april so it was important), in historical center with a possibiilty to park in front of the property. The floor with a fireplace is very romantic. Elena, the host was always online and open for all our enquires and questions. She knows good restaurants around, she let us stay till late afternoon, as she did not have guests the next day. So it was very helpful to have such a host. If we ever come back, we will stay here again. Absolutely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful property, a lot of care has gone into the refurbishment with beautiful details and furnishings. Well equipped. Amazing location in the old town, quiet but very close to all amenities and bars and restaurants. A wonderful host with great communication who was so helpful. Very comfortable and spacious new appartments, well cleaned, with free parking lot in front of the building. There is a reception at the building entrance at certain hours. We got a great value deal for our stay. The location is ideal when you travel by car and visit Potes and Picos de Europa. Exceeding our expectation. Note: there is also a cheap gas-station at 2 min. drive down the N621 to fill-up your car.

Everything for all types of traveller - bikers, cyclists, walkers, and other types of tourist. Plenty of opportunity to explore the beauty of the Picos. There are any number of bars and restaurants, but the best is Asador Llorente - but book a table as it is very popular.

Potes is a great base for exploring the Picos de Europa, with a lovely small-town feel and plenty of places to eat and wander. It’s easy to get around on foot, and the surrounding scenery is outstanding. A really enjoyable stop, especially if you’re travelling through the mountains.

Charming town in the middle of the Picos with lots of shops,...

Charming town in the middle of the Picos with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes to choose from. We stayed there on a motorcycle tour and the roads are fantastic. The weather in early October was great for us, nice and warm and sunny. We loved it and will be returning.

Potes is a great base to explore the Picos de Europa.

Potes is a great base to explore the Picos de Europa. Good restaurants include the Mexican Las Mañantas, or for steak and cured meets Asador Llorente. The two local supermarkets are well stocked but remember are closed on Sundays.

Absolutely great location to stay & explore on a motorbike.

Absolutely great location to stay & explore on a motorbike. Main thing to remember is to avoid the restaurants in the centre that are over priced with poor service & substandard food & are probably the downside of the entire region. There are an abundance of great cafes, bars & restaurant's all around the back streets & well worth exploring. This really is one picturesque town with allot to offer just take the time to find the gems & avoid the obvious tourist traps.

The journey coming into Potes from all directions is...

The journey coming into Potes from all directions is stunning with the mountains, gorges and forests. The town is historically beautiful and the walk opportunities aplenty with degrees of difficulty. Absolutely a must place to go too. The cable car a must do and consider the 14km walk down that is graded moderate but my opinion moderate - difficult. With lots of boggy areas. Spotted many farm animals and those large farm animal protection dogs. And a bonus spotted 2 small deer and had an encounter with a friendly and curious donkey. Potes offers many places to wine and dine and the township is easy to walk and if driving several free car parking lots are available.

Great location in old town, close to restaurants, shops etc; friendly, helpful, welcoming staff; high standard of cleanliness; swimming pool was refreshing; kitchenette useful, sparse but thought through with fridge, hob (no oven), kettle (not a given in Spain!); washing machine. Parking is very busy in high season (there's none at the apartments) but we found a locals car park on the road behind the apartments.

The apartment was well equipped , had the most amazing views and a large outdoor area to relax in the sun after a long hike. Only a 5 min walk into Potes and 10 min back (uphill) but was great to explore the towns bars and restaurants.
