We came to Potes for a week of walking in the amazing Picos and were not disappointed, and Casa Raymonde was just the place for us. The host made us very welcome and was very helpful and attentive. BelgiumVery comfortable and spacious new appartments, well cleaned, with free parking lot in front of the building. There is a reception at the building entrance at certain hours. We got a great value deal for our stay. The location is ideal when you travel by car and visit Potes and Picos de Europa. Exceeding our expectation. Note: there is also a cheap gas-station at 2 min. drive down the N621 to fill-up your car.

Potes is a busy town with lots of shops, restaurants and...
Potes is a busy town with lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. It sits at the edge of the beautiful Picos de Europas National Park. Places like the Deva Gorge, the San Glorio Pass and Fuente De are within easy driving distances from the town. We were there for 5 nights in late spring, which is a little quieter than summer and also a bit wetter. But most days were dry and the temperatures were perfect for walking and exploring. The drifts of wild daffodils in the meadows near the San Gloria Pass are stunningly beautiful and wild orchids are common. We recommend a trip on the Fuente De Cable Car which will take you up to the snowy mountains with fabulous views. But get to cable car station early to avoid long queues.

Everything for all types of traveller - bikers, cyclists, walkers, and other types of tourist. Plenty of opportunity to explore the beauty of the Picos. There are any number of bars and restaurants, but the best is Asador Llorente - but book a table as it is very popular.

Potes is a great base for exploring the Picos de Europa, with a lovely small-town feel and plenty of places to eat and wander. It’s easy to get around on foot, and the surrounding scenery is outstanding. A really enjoyable stop, especially if you’re travelling through the mountains.

Charming town in the middle of the Picos with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes to choose from. We stayed there on a motorcycle tour and the roads are fantastic. The weather in early October was great for us, nice and warm and sunny. We loved it and will be returning.

Potes is a great base to explore the Picos de Europa.
Potes is a great base to explore the Picos de Europa. Good restaurants include the Mexican Las Mañantas, or for steak and cured meets Asador Llorente.
The two local supermarkets are well stocked but remember are closed on Sundays.

Absolutely great location to stay & explore on a motorbike.
Absolutely great location to stay & explore on a motorbike. Main thing to remember is to avoid the restaurants in the centre that are over priced with poor service & substandard food & are probably the downside of the entire region. There are an abundance of great cafes, bars & restaurant's all around the back streets & well worth exploring. This really is one picturesque town with allot to offer just take the time to find the gems & avoid the obvious tourist traps.

4 guys on motorbikes touring round picos de europa , ideal location petrol station close to apartments, potes centre is a easy 12 to 15 minutes walk, their are a few restaurants and a bars by the apartments not as many as potes. The apartments are bit dated but clean ,beds are comfortable and our apartment had 2 bathrooms and a kitchen, room 6 good large balcony overlooking the pool and sunloungers the four of us enjoyed our stay also the price is reasonable.

Very central location. It’s easy to get around Potes by foot.
The first impressions could be that it’s a bit outdated, but the rooms are actually nice and big.
The staff is very welcoming and the breakfast is very nice and diverse.
There is no parking, since the hotel is in a pedestrian area, but it is easy parking spot at maximum 5 minutes of walking (maybe not midday, but the rest of the time it’s pretty easy to find a spot).

Our stay at Maile Apartamentos was great. Clean and modern apartment with friendly and helpful staff. Check in was easy via whats app. Situated a few minutes walk from the centre of Potes. We were travelling on motorcycles and although there was no secure parking, we parked both bikes at the side and below ground level so they were out of sight from the road. I highly recommend the apartments and would stay here again.

Convenient location for access to Potes and surroundings but outside of noisy town centre. Easy parking.
