Fully renovated loft style with all the original features. Lots of space and good facilities / kitchen / towels etc. Really secure, quiet and nice views from the upstairs area. We came to Potes for a week of walking in the amazing Picos and were not disappointed, and Casa Raymonde was just the place for us. The host made us very welcome and was very helpful and attentive. We got a great value deal for our stay. The location is ideal when you travel by car and visit Potes and Picos de Europa. Exceeding our expectation. Note: there is also a cheap gas-station at 2 min. drive down the N621 to fill-up your car.

Potes is a busy town with lots of shops, restaurants and...
Potes is a busy town with lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. It sits at the edge of the beautiful Picos de Europas National Park. Places like the Deva Gorge, the San Glorio Pass and Fuente De are within easy driving distances from the town. We were there for 5 nights in late spring, which is a little quieter than summer and also a bit wetter. But most days were dry and the temperatures were perfect for walking and exploring. The drifts of wild daffodils in the meadows near the San Gloria Pass are stunningly beautiful and wild orchids are common. We recommend a trip on the Fuente De Cable Car which will take you up to the snowy mountains with fabulous views. But get to cable car station early to avoid long queues.

Everything for all types of traveller - bikers, cyclists, walkers, and other types of tourist. Plenty of opportunity to explore the beauty of the Picos. There are any number of bars and restaurants, but the best is Asador Llorente - but book a table as it is very popular.

Potes is a great base for exploring the Picos de Europa, with a lovely small-town feel and plenty of places to eat and wander. It’s easy to get around on foot, and the surrounding scenery is outstanding. A really enjoyable stop, especially if you’re travelling through the mountains.

Charming town in the middle of the Picos with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes to choose from. We stayed there on a motorcycle tour and the roads are fantastic. The weather in early October was great for us, nice and warm and sunny. We loved it and will be returning.

Potes is a great base to explore the Picos de Europa.
Potes is a great base to explore the Picos de Europa. Good restaurants include the Mexican Las Mañantas, or for steak and cured meets Asador Llorente.
The two local supermarkets are well stocked but remember are closed on Sundays.

Absolutely great location to stay & explore on a motorbike.
Absolutely great location to stay & explore on a motorbike. Main thing to remember is to avoid the restaurants in the centre that are over priced with poor service & substandard food & are probably the downside of the entire region. There are an abundance of great cafes, bars & restaurant's all around the back streets & well worth exploring. This really is one picturesque town with allot to offer just take the time to find the gems & avoid the obvious tourist traps.

Great hotel, nice atmosphere, clean and comfortable room. Good motorcycle friendly hotel, very popular with British bikers. English speaking host. Safe motorcycle parking in front of hotel, good breakfast. Well positioned with restaurants, shops and sights on the doorstep. Central position for scenic rides in the area. Easy ride to ferry terminal next day.

Het is een mooi huis in het centrum van Potes. De keuken, badkamer en bedden zijn prima. Er is voldoende ruimte voor een gezin. Het huis blijft koel ondanks de warmte. Er zijn restaurants en een supermarkt dichtbij. Het restaurantje om de hoek is een aanrader.
