IsraelVery large room with loads of cupboard space., loads of drawers and plenty of space to store the suitcases. Bathroom was very large, excellent design,, great shower and bath options and plenty of space for towels and toiletries . Large covered balcony with a view of the swimming pool and the sea, with table and chairs protected from sun, cold and rain. Right next to the castle and 7 minutes walk into town. I will only stay there when in Rota.

IcelandVery easy communication with Laura, who speaks English very well. The apartment is a bit from the beaches (nothing is far away in Rota) but only about 300 m from Mercadona, 400 m from Carrefour and the bus line that goes to the center is only 50 m away. The bus goes every 30 minutes (different table on weekends and holydays) and costs only €1,15.
The San Antonio bakery is also just 50 m across the parking lot and we went there every morning for tostada con jamón y café con leche, loved it!
I recommend this apartment and will check for availability next time I come visit "home" again.

Rota is a lovely town and the apartment it is very well situatued, close to the beach but also within city center.
Very nice apartment distributed on 3 levels, having a lovely design and very nice&wide spaces (nicer than puctures show) with an amazing bedroom on top and spacious terraces.
I would come back!

Rota, on the Costa de la Luz is a great spot for a beach holiday. Several good hotels right on beach. Town is small, but lively. Friendly folks, good tapas everywhere.
Not on the beaten path, not on the Mediterranean, but a nice ferry to ride to Cadiz, short drive to Jerez de la Frontera or Sanlucar. Enjoy!

Rota is a small town and every place was in walking distance. If you stayed outside the town there seemed to be a very regular bus service.
It was lovely to stop at the little cafes around and have a cup of coffee and a roll for breakfast at inexpensive cost. In the evening time there are lovely restaurants which ranged from tapas and a full meal whatever your wish. It is a real Spanish town on the coast with lovely groomed beaches and friendly people. It is close to other big centres like Cadiz, Jerez. Puerto de Santa María and Chipiona.

I think Rota is a cute town.
I think Rota is a cute town. There's enough to do for a getaway either as a single, or even with a partner or family. I have been to Rota three times within a single month and I would definitely go back. One of my favorite places to enjoy brunch was a restaurtant named Oklahomas. The food is so delicous. It is quite easy to get around Rota!

Despite superb sandy beaches and a nice old city centre Rota...
Despite superb sandy beaches and a nice old city centre Rota is not over-exploited as a tourist destination. It is a rather quiet town, ideal for a restful vacation, and small enough to be able to reach most places by foot. There is a catamaran service to Cadiz several times per day, weather permitting.

Rota is a proper Spanish town. Good choice of restaurants shops cafes tapas bars. Not for people who want fast food.
Beautiful beach lovely harbour very quaint narrow streets. If you are looking for a taste of real Spain this is the place to visit.

All perfect...except one little thing...the little bottle of courtesy water was only for the first night! For an hotel of this standard a little bottle of water should be there every day!
