Very friendly host that showed us the property and neighborhood, always available for great restaurant recommendations. The location is perfect for any activity on the island, and it is a very safe neighborhood. The view from the spacious apartment was amazing from the dining area inside and outside. The kitchen has the most basic cooking tools with a large fridge. The bathroom has a nice shower with a heater for the winter. Lots of blankets are available if it gets cold.

Apartment is huge and very specific, it feels like visiting family member - probably a bit eccentric one ;) The terrace is amazing, the sofa is super comfy, the TV is huge, the kitchen was the best from all our stays - everything was there, including spices etc. Location is ideal, awesome restaurants and supermarkets next door, quick access to the highway. Loved the outdoor shower, the private jacuzzi was awesome. You can see the ocean and even Teide! Very kind owner, let us leave whenever we are ready.

Kati couldn't have been more helpful and patient when we got lost on our way over. The property is really lovely. The owners have cleverly designed a series of gardens on different levels, with plants and fountains. The town has some interesting shops and a supermarket in walking distance.

Nice big property. We stayed with our family (2 adults + 2 toddlers) but it can easily accommodate at least 2 more people. You have all you need for comfortable stay. And this gives you a feeling that you are hosted by friends.

The gasoline was compared too the Netherlands very cheap the supermartkets like Hyprdino is very good Because Santa Ursula is not a tourist place most people does not speak English. But then use Google translate that brings a smile on their face :)

For those interested in visiting the north side of Tenerife...
For those interested in visiting the north side of Tenerife and the Puerto de la Cruz area, Santa Ursula (especially the La Quinta neighborhood, which is lower and closer to the ocean), is a great place to stay where you can get better properties and a lower price. Puerto de la Cruz is just 10 minutes away by car. La Quinta area is less busy, has a great microclimate, and it is quite upscale.

Nice stay here for the week with nice local restaurants and also a little further out in puerto de la Cruz. Would recommend having a car. The host was brilliant and nothing was an issue. Ideally we would have like a stair gate (for the child) and a welcome folder with various information in it such as WiFi code (is incorrect on router). Also the maintenance seems to be lacking a little, but if all these things are put right it’ll be a super place to stay.

Santa Ursula is a beautiful, well maintained, part of North Tenerife with fantastic beaches, shopping and restaurants. DO NOT go to Hotel Spa La Quinta Park Resorts, unless you like lots and lots of salt, really bad food, and cheap, cold red wine, and watching stressed serving staff rushed off their feet. DO book Casa Hagen in La Quinta if it is available, this is an amazing family home with everything you could possibly wish for. We have been to a lot of places over the years, this was the stand-out best holiday we have ever hand, largely because of Casa Hagen and its beauty.

We had the room on the 1st floor in the main building with a small terrace and sofa. Great ocean view and Teide view. Comfortable way out to the swimming pool and yard. The room was great and cozy, we even had a small kitchen over there. The location was good but you had to either take a free bus to Puerto de la Cruz or rent a car to see the island properly. Highly recommend!

Didn,t like the area, we were there for a wedding inLa Victoria, we often have a few days in Puerto del la Cruz, but found this hotel so cold, with such bad facilities in kitchen and bedroom, really would have to think twice about returning, I was happy to leave

Great value, beautiful room with a view of the green mountains above. The apartment itself is situated inside an ex hotel. You have a lot of privacy and it's really easy to find a parking place at the location. Location is near the northern highway, which means you can easily access to have other parts of the island. Also the owner is very attentive, we messaged that we had some problems with the water pressure and it was all very quickly resolved.
