I really liked the design aesthetic of this place. Only 5 rooms. A beautiful/tasty breakfast (changed daily). Added plus of great water pressure, free Nespresso coffee in the room, gratis bottles of drinking water too, plus fridge and electrical sockets and lights on both sides of the bed, crisp white linens, great shower/shower products and plenty of towels. Easily operated AC, and strong hairdryer (who new these were going to be important/differentiating features of this trip!). On a quiet lane.

Simple, understated & tasteful decor throughout makes this an incredibly calm and restful environment to relax in, in the center of Sóller. We loved Suite 7 on the top floor with roll top bath. Albert was super helpful. Appreciated self-service coffee/tea, wine, croissants, cake, fruit etc available throughout the day. Would recommend to friends and hope to return.

Everything was just amazing. We absolutely loved it! You feel the positive energy the moment you step into the hotel. The owners are very welcoming and make you feel completely at home. The interior is stunning,there’s art in every corner and it’s beautifully designed. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. Cleanliness was 10/10. And the breakfast… it’s a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else! The location is perfect right in the center, yet on a very calm street. We simply loved everything about this place. L’Avenida is a gorgeous boutique hotel in a perfect location close to the main square with lovely bars & restaurants. The hotel is run by a lovely couple who can’t do enough for you. Highly recommend the ground floor garden rooms. It was lovely to sit right outside our room & by the pool to have our welcome drink & breakfast. The breakfast was also lovely.

Clean. Comfy. Great hosts. Really enjoyed the location. We should have taken a transportation rather than rent a car. Parking was easy but additional cost. Really enjoyed our stay! Excellent location close to grocery, restaurants, cycling, running, walking. Enjoyed location and proximity to the port as well - more small town experience vs the port which is more touristy

The entire area is well suited for hiking - both for shorter and longer distances. It is easy and fun to get lost - and then to discover new hidden gems. Actually, the best suggestion I would have is to put Sóller in the midst of a circle with a 10 km radius. There are extremely many things to find. Everything from hiking trails to hidden monasteries, quaint cities and information about a rich and eventful history. Of course, the best is to find people to sit down and talk with. I have found some places that I very much would have liked to visit again. To start with; Muleta vde Ca S'Hereu. If you have the chance, drop by for a visit. These are some of the nicests and sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. A somewhat surprising recommendation perhaps; drop by Hostal Residència Nadal for a good and healthy breakfast for 7 euro in a quiet back garden. Very relaxing before a busy day. For a longer walk I suggest paying Hotel Hoposa Costa d’Or a visit, have a good dinner and enjoy all the scandinavian litterature that is placed there. After this, head for Alconasser - and if you are still up for it, take one of the trails over to Port de Sóller. Just to mention a few potential routes. Of course, there are many other places worth visiting as well - for instance to walk up to Fornalutx and head up towards some of the trails that are crisscrossing the upward parts of the hills. Of course, it will probably pay off to not visit during the warmest parts of the years. I stayed there for a few days in October, and that was just perfect!

The hotel was only a 5 minute walk to Soller centre. Soller is a beautiful town, with lots going on in the main square. Lots of places to eat and drink, each weekend there is some form of entertainment in the square. Saturday is market day, I would advise not trying to get to your hotel for check in until after 5pm as roads are closed.

Impossible to park in Soller and the trip to Soller beach is...

Impossible to park in Soller and the trip to Soller beach is very expensive on the (lovely) tram, €10 each way pp, and the car parking spaces at the beach (very good beach and swimming) limited. BUT the town is delightful, very good restaurants and the area scenic. Soller off-season would be great but mid September is still main season and so we struggled with the parking.

Soller is the perfect location if you want to explore all...

Soller is the perfect location if you want to explore all the little towns in the area plus as far as scenery it is the prettiest part of the island.If you want a beach vacation it is not the correct place to stay although you are only 5 minutes away from Puerto de Soller but there are much nicer beaches.

Soller is very picturesque and well served by shops, bars...

Soller is very picturesque and well served by shops, bars and restaurants. The roads are very narrow and extremely crowded with both cars and pedestrians. Parking is very scarce. It is very stressful to drive. The Botanic Gardens are worth a visit.

Beautiful village plentiful restaurants/bars/cafes. There are quaint shopping streets selling good quality local wares. The Church is a must to visit and the square so pretty. Wander in the back streets you won't be disappointed. A ride on the 100 year old tram to Soller Port is a must do - My advice is to go early before the crowds arrive.

SolleRooms is a lovely old Town house literally a minutes walk to the main square but still very quiet. Whilst there is no reception, communication from the owner was excellent on how to access the property. We stayed in Room 9 on the second floor which had a window onto the little street. It wasn't a huge room but it was lovely and clean with everything we needed. The bathroom had a sliding opaque glass door for privacy. The free WiFi was good. It's a perfect location for exploring with the train and tram a few minutes walk away.

The villas location to both the old town and the port. The outdoor pool area and bbq area we never needed to use the living room as our weather was fantastic. A nice touch to leave some essentials in the fridge. Classic Spanish style villa great for a family or a group of friends
