It's a fantastic location, right next to the station, close to the main beach. Only ten minutes from the main area. Nice sandwich place around the corner. Tarragona itself is a lovely place, full of history. The Roman amphitheatre and circus are stunning. There's a lovely beach just outside the city near the Lidl. Two of the receptionists, a woman and man with glasses, were great and very helpful - spoke very good English. Room is cleaned spotlessly everyday. Breakfast is ok.

It was perfect in every way, I was travelling alone and felt the owner had a super ethos in terms of being supporting and caring. The owners have a genuine ability to make you feel welcome and at home, providing me excellent knowledge about the area and available transport.
I loved that I was able to prepare for breakfast and lights meals. Close to all amenities and there is a small Spanish tapas bar nearby and the SPAR.
I would definitely come back if I am in the area.
Thank you so much.

Tarragona is located on the sunny ‘Costa Daurada‘, in southern Catalonia. With an inheritance dating back to local tribes, Carthaginians and Romans, it is today a vibrant cultural and economic centre. Don’t miss the ‘human towers’ during Tarragona’s Santa Tecla Festival, but check your hotel availability for the area with enough time in advance.
The ‘human towers’ became so popular all across Catalonia that they can be visited throughout the year at the festival centre ‘Casa de la Festa’. Try the local seafood dishes in El Serrallo fishing district, and don’t miss the wines from the area.
The city was an important provincial capital during Roman times and includes several UNESCO World Heritage sites, with the seaside amphitheatre from the 2nd century being the most relevant. The 12th-century Cathedral of St Mary was built on the site of a former Jupiter temple and a Muslim mosque, and mixes Romanesque and Gothic styles.
Reus Airport is a few kilometres outside the city, while Barcelona El Prat Airport is 90 km away. Tarragona is located near Salou resort, and hotels in the area are also very popular. Whether you need a guest house in the historic centre or a resort on the beach, check out the Tarragona accommodation deals on Booking.com!

An interesting city, with a Roman forum and oher Roman remains. You can see people building the famous "towers" of Tarragona. The people are very nice and happy. The bakeries and pastry shops offer a great range of specialties.
The bad access to the Miracle beach was a problem for us. The city is not quite clean.

Tarragona is the only Spanish city i have stayed overnight.
Tarragona is the only Spanish city i have stayed overnight. I like the ramblas and the laidback nature of the town. My only regret is that i cannot speak Spanish and most people i had to interact with for guidance or direction found it difficult communicating in English. Food and beer is quite affordable.

Main city is compact enough to walk to all the main attractions plus restaurants, beach etc. Not crowded and people friendly. We got reductions as seniors at the main historical sites and the art gallery was free. The cathedral, art gallery and roman sites are all well laid out. It wasn't that easy to get a choice of vegetarian food.
We were lucky enough to witness the human tower which was amazing, plus fireworks several nights and a drone show.

Tarragona is a lovely city steeped in history.
Tarragona is a lovely city steeped in history. The old town is well kept and there are lovely squares with restaurants, bars and shops to visit. The roman ruins are great to visit, especially the walls and the amphitheatre. The Cathedral is really worth a visit too. We were there for the festival of Sant Joan and enjoyed the fire parades ans human towers. There are plenty of sandy beaches nearby if you want a break from the city.

Tarragona is really worth visiting .
Tarragona is really worth visiting . Has history back to the Romans. The plaza’s restaurants nearby offered excellent food. Parking just by the hotel offered secure parking for a car containing lots of luggage.
Spacious and functional property. New matresses, 3 air conditioners and a stunning pool. No problems with electricity shortages.
Near Tarragona - beautiful city with exceptional roman ruins. Off the tourist map, so the city is not chaotic and reflects true spanish culture. Prices both for tourist sites and restaurants are reasonable.
Local town (Amettla del mar) and beaches are stunning.
Doreen is a star- maintains the property to a very high standard, friendly, helpful and punctual.
Staff - helpful, really friendly and giving us precious advices (where to find free of charge parking in city, where and what to eat in the city center / port, or where to find affordable manual self washing car)
Location - near beach (1-2 minutes walking), not so far away from the old city center (30-40 minutes walking, depending on one's pace).
Hotel (inside) - clean, quietly, free parking, from balcony we had sea view
Fantastic location, close to the old city, restaurants, beach, shopping, ancient ruins - all within walking distance.
The hotel was excellent, clean, spacious with wonderful food (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Loved the pool, roof-top bar and gym. Staff very friendly.
This is a nice hotel, located close to the beach. The room was bright and a decent size, and the large bed was very comfortable. Whether the location is convenient for the old town depends on your ability to walk up a very steep hill.
Everything, it was our best stay in Spain ( and we went in Valencia, Salou, Tarragona and Barcelona). The apartements is beautiful, location beautiful, very clean, new equipments, great host.
