Location is impeccable, right in the old town, next to bars and restaurants. The rooms have great views on the river and the bodegas. There's a nice bar& restaurant next to the swimming pool with the same views. The swimming pool is a must if you go in the summer. The staff were really nice and helpful. The AC in the room worked great.

The house was so wonderfully set up! It had literally everything you could need for a very comfortable stay of any length. It was incredibly clean and huge! 2 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms! We were just two people and our small dog but you could stay easily stay with a family. We felt safe and it was incredible quiet and peaceful.
Parking is easy on the street (instructions on where to park exactly are provided on an info sheet inside the apartment). They also left a little gift of some fresh cheese and yoghurts which were delicious and much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Very happy with the restaurant connected to the hotel. Although I arrived late in the afternoon on Saturday, I was able to have the weekend menu as the last diner before they closed the kitchen. Room was quiet and comfortable

Old centre has some picturesque buildings, and the novelty of huge stork nests on several of the church spires and towers, with storks and young in residence in May. Bars not generally open between 15:00 and 21:00. Good for touring region but apart from architectural interest, missable.

It is a fascinating historical town, the old town rather crumbling at the moment. Centuries of history at every turn. Many bars with good ranges of tapas, but hard to find a functioning restaurant at the moment. The cafe/restaurant next to the Hotel Juan II does excellent lunches.

good for wine tasting.
good for wine tasting. A rural non- touristiy working town - mainly spanish residents with not much english spoken (youngsters do speak english) Nice locqal bars, restaurants etc. Walk around easily. Tourists around from other countries including US - several cyclists and walkers.
I didn't book a room with the scenic view as the terrace has that. My room without a view turned out to look directly onto the church - so very luck there. The hotel is perfectly positioned and does everything that is needed.
As a budget stay this hotel is great, Central town location makes it ideal to explore the heart of Toro, friendly staff, the reception and entrance is in the restaurant/bar which wasn't a problem for me.
A superbly situated apartment by Plaza Mayor, very tranquil and clean and spacious. Nerea is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our days in Toro.
