This hotel is set in a traditional mountain lodge-style building at the head of the beautiful Arán Valley. It lies just outside the Baqueira-Beret ski station, in the Spanish Pyrenees. Have dinner in this hotel's restaurant: best price/value food ever.
Hotel Saueth is 1.2 mi from Baqueira Beret Ski Resort, in the Catalan Pyrenees village of Tredós. It offers ski storage, a free Wi-Fi zone, and rooms with flat-screen TV. Raquel and Maria are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcome the minute you arrive. We came during COVID and restaurants were only open for take away, but Raquel offered to set up a table at the hotel every night and provided everything we needed. The room is very cosy, warm and spacious enough for a few nights stay. Tredos is very quiet and there wasn't anything open during the time we stayed, but it is only 5 minutes drive to Baqueira and convenient for getting to the slopes.
Apartamentos Rentarán is set in Tredòs and within 1.9 mi of the ski elevators at Baqueira-Beret. The property offers mountain-style apartments and a house. The location was beautiful and a short drive. Accommodation was sizeable for how affordable it is.
On average, 3-star hotels in Tredós cost $0 per night, and 4-star hotels in Tredós are $0 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Tredós can be found for $0 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
It was a fantastic hotel in a very convenient yet quiet spot very close to Baqueira. It didn’t matter that we weren’t in the resort as the little mini bus ferried us up and down within a minutes notice. The hotel was beautifully clean and comfortable and a great place to chill out when you have a very stressful life. Highly recommended.
Good location for easy access to Baqueira-Beret ski area although a car is essential. Although we did find one bar and restaurant in Tredos it is a small village so most restaurants and bars are a couple of minutes drive in Salardu.
The room was clean and comfortable. Furniture too old but just right. They have free transport to the ski station. They offered us a cup of hot soup after a very cold and rainy day, great! Very good breakfast and assorted. In my opinion, the price for adding a meal (dinner) was very expensive and the menu not balanced with the price. We didn't eat there so we can't give an opinion about the quality of the food.
Near the ski slopes but nothing there. No restaurants only 2 hotels. Bus stop nearby takes you to all local towns, Vielha, Saladu, Arties where there are restaurants and bars. A taxi cost €20 euros to baqueira and the same price back for a 5 minute journey
