I love all about this stay. It was a great two-night experience in Föglö. Imagine a rainy day with a cup of coffee and a book staying inside of the cozy little cabin where we could enjoy the quiet and peaceful moments. When it was sunny outside, we could bicycle, paddle and stroll around the beach. The best part for us was farm animals. We’ve got a chance to pet the baby goat, the cute rabbits and have some chat with Daddy goat outside the fence :P The best countryside experience ever and strongly recommend to stay there during your summer vacation!!

Strandhugget is the perfect place to while away the summer days, watch the lively harbour and go for hikes or bike rides. The breakfast is among the best we have had in a BnB, with homemade buns, cakes and jams. Tea and her husband were gracious, friendly and welcoming hosts and had good tips for trips and things to see and do. The huts are small but cozy and very clean.

The staff was super helpful and welcoming, and the building and surroundings charming. I've never stayed in prettier rooms! There's a sense of calm to the place, and almost a feeling of being transported back in time. The location is convenient for people driving and cycling, I'm sure, but also for people hiking! There's a bus stop right next to Amalia, which makes exploring Åland on foot convenient. With Amalia as your base camp, you'll have a lovely place to return to after your adventure. The breakfast was good, especially the homemade bread. And at the end of a whole day of hiking, there's nothing better than a cold bottle of lemonade, made in the factory right next door!
