The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We'll probably never forget the fantastic Northern Lights we saw from the cabin as it's located in a dark area. The Laavu was great for making a barbecue. We loved the accommodation so much that we decided to have a chill day at home rather than go on an adventure.

Lappean Lohi is a real fishing camp. The breathtaking setting is located just south of the confluence of rivers Tornio and Muonio. The accommodations are plain but very clean and comfortable. The great breakfast offers a large variety of choices with exceptionally good blackbread. There is a cafe that serves excellent coffee and fresh pastries all day, and also functions as a gift shop with locally sourced gift items, as well as items that you may have forgotten to pack with you. The staff is cheerful, friendly and remarkably accommodating: They connected us with a local historian, who joined us for a dinner day later. The chef and his very capable staff were able to serve a lovely dinner for 14 on very short notice. And then there is the Nature: the never ending daylight, the sound of the forever running ancient river, the wildflowers by the road that grow before your very eyes, the placid reindeer who are totally indifferent to your presence...

Very charming cottage. We traveled in 4 people so it met all our expectations but the description is misleading. The cottage does not have 3 separate bedrooms. The main cottage has a living room with a bunk bed and a kitchenette behind which is another large bed. Everything is one. The 3rd bed is in a visible small cottage which can only be heated by a fireplace (no bathroom). The entrance to the sauna is in the bathroom in the large cottage. For a couple traveling with 2 children great. We had no problems with the oven like the previous guests so it has been fixed which shows that the owner cares about such things. The owner replies to messages quickly and is very helpful. Generally I recommend :)
