United KingdomAn unexpected bargain and what a hidden gem. This house is literally the perfect winter cabin in the woods Gorgeously built house (the pictures don't even do it justice!) with an amazing sauna, washing machine, dish washer, mezzanine overlooking a spacious living room. The host provides pretty much everything you need to have a good time there (even got sledges, dishwasher tablets and candles) and they are very attentive. Definitely worth the money and I would book again if I come back to Finland.

Luosto is a ski resort, we went in the summer for peace and quiet which we got. Easy trails for walking and climbing. Climb the mountain for a great view or the new mountain hut has opened with a short 1.7km steepish walk which leads onto longer trails

Absolutely beautiful. Stunning scenery.
Absolutely beautiful. Stunning scenery. Lots of winter activities. Small village but wonderful and very friendly locals. Good bus service from outside the hotel. The ski bus was very useful for getting to different areas. Wonderful places to eat. Food was of the very best quality. Lovely gift shop in the village called Herianna. Full of wonderful gifts and the staff is fantastic,so warm and friendly. Also there is a great little shop that has everything you need for your stay.

The place seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but once you are there you find all the necessary infrastructure and more. The hotel is surrounded by few other hotels, some giftshops, restaurants and there is a small supermarket (K-market) 1 minute away from the hotel entrance. The room turned out to be large and cozy with a very nice bathroom and a balcony and a fridge. The breakfast buffet was very diverse and delicious. There is also a swimming pool and sauna and ...

The house is clean. It has two rooms+living huge room + kitchen, sauna, bathroom, toilet. All is lovely decorated. The kitchen has everything to cook on and to eat from.
The ski traks began in two minutes walking from the house. The Luosto woods are wonder on the winter season! And Luosto resort has well-keeped ski traks through them. Loved to ski through the wonderful winter landscapes!

Amazing house on the river. All facilities are of 5 star hotel. Kitchen with all the equipment one can imagine. The house is perfectly clean and styled. Magnificent view of the river, reindeer walking in the yard, a lot of berries around, silence and calm. A lot of hiking trails around.
I hope to come back one day.

A new and modern accommodation. The location was very quiet and idyllic, yet still close to a supermarket and great hiking opportunities in the Pyhä-Luosto National Park and the mine. It had everything we needed and was very well equipped. We were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights!

Nice location close to luosto center. We saw the Aurora 5 min walking distance. INKA from the staff was very very helpful.
