One of the best accommodations we have ever been, and we teavel a lot in Scandinavia and international. The villa is equipped with everything you need for a longer stay, very clean, with many lovely details and located at a silent place on the lakeshore. We enjoyed viewing the rendeers walking around from the kitchen window during breakfast, the nice sunset from the wood heated lakesauna and the peaceful quietness. Recommended to everyone travelling in the north and we will definitely come again.

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Sarmi. The location is absolutely breathtaking - a true paradise in the heart of nature. Surrounded by stunning landscapes and complete tranquility, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind! The host Pekka was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available for any questions. Even before our arrival, we felt genuinely cared for. Good to know is that the parking area is about 2 km from the Villa, and guests are transported to the property by snowmobile. Upon arrival, we were given a short tour where everything was explained to us, including how and where to get fresh water and wood, how the sauna works, etc. It’s not for the lazy, but getting back to the roots truly makes you feel even more connected to nature. You also have free access to various equipment such as snow suits, snowshoes, and more. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable getaway. We will definitely be coming back!
