Staying at this hotel is one of the best decisions we could ever make about our Finland trip. The location, the room, the facilities, all the activities, everything made staying here an absolutely fantastic experience that we genuinely can recommend to everyone. We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Sarmi. The location is absolutely breathtaking - a true paradise in the heart of nature. Surrounded by stunning landscapes and complete tranquility, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind! The host Pekka was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available for any questions. Even before our arrival, we felt genuinely cared for. Good to know is that the parking area is about 2 km from the Villa, and guests are transported to the property by snowmobile. Upon arrival, we were given a short tour where everything was explained to us, including how and where to get fresh water and wood, how the sauna works, etc. It’s not for the lazy, but getting back to the roots truly makes you feel even more connected to nature. You also have free access to various equipment such as snow suits, snowshoes, and more. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable getaway. We will definitely be coming back!
