This is probably, the nicest, most unique stay that I have ever had. The setting of the igloos is breathtaking, the actual igloos are so comfortable and well appointed. There is nothing to describe lying in a cosy bed looking at the stars, or opening your eyes to an orange glow across a frosty lake. Breakfast was brilliant, so much choice, although I did discover that seems to be standard in Finland. It is a beautiful, peaceful and calming environment. Oh and the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble.

This stay was nothing short of magical - the kind of place that instantly slows your breathing and makes the outside world feel very far away. From the moment we arrived, everything about the “hotel” radiated calmness, warmth and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, with absolute silence broken only by nature itself and the views were simply unreal - endless winter landscapes, a still lake and the promise of auroras dancing above at night. One of the absolute highlights was the sauna experience. Perfectly hot, beautifully maintained and relaxing, it felt like a ritual rather than just an activity. Stepping out of the sauna and plunging straight into the icy lake was exhilarating in the best possible way - shocking, refreshing and strangely addictive. Evenings were just as special. The BBQ setup was fantastic, allowing us to cook and enjoy food outdoors while surrounded by nature and total quiet. Sitting there with incredible views, warm food and crisp air felt incredibly grounding. And when the sky cleared, the auroras made their appearance - absolutely breathtaking and even more special because there was no noise, no rush, just stillness. What truly sets this place apart is the feeling it gives you: total serenity. No stress, no crowds, no distractions - just calm, comfort and nature at its purest. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making everything feel effortless and personal. This wasn’t just a hotel stay, it was a full reset. Peaceful, cozy and unforgettable. Without a doubt one of the most relaxing and beautiful experiences I’ve ever had. I would return in a heartbeat.

It is a lovely and comfortable apartment with everything we needed for an overnight stay. It is easy to find and a supermarket across the car park is very convenient. The hosts are very responsive to communication.

A magical place! Powerful place! Picturesque place. We've stayed with sister for one night only after visiting Ranua Zoo prior to be back to Rovaniemi. By the end of the stay we knew we want to be back here again. Very cosy house in Finnish countryside style with phenomenal fantastic surrounding - forest, endless snow fields, frozen river, Aurora visible right from the window. And complete tranquility and calm. Special atmosphere added by authentic fireplace, barbecue we did outside in -30 and of course private sauna. The host Juho is super friendly and kind. We've got clear instructions on check-in, fireplace and we were allowed to stay a bit longer for check-out. The house literally impressed us and gave so much more we could expect! We would love to back in summer too and very much grateful for this fairy-tale stay ❄️

Our stay in the cabin was dreamy for both adults and kids. Outside there was a frozen lake, they had sleds for all the children, and in the evenings we peacefully searched for the aurora. Nearby you can go on husky and reindeer rides, and there’s also a zoo in Ranua. We also lit a fire outside and roasted marshmallows with the kids. The host also arranged ice fishing for us.

The property was spectacular, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Host was very quickly to reply if we had any questions, plus gave us a heads up when the northern lights were out. Can’t want to stay here again
