Arriving at Blue Lagoon felt like coming home. The staff were so welcoming and professional, you felt instantly comfortable and at home in the resort. I chose to write this review after completing our trip across three different islands and resorts, and can say resoundingly that Blue Lagoon exceeded all our expectations and that in hindsight we wish we had just booked our full week there and never left. There were three key highlights: 1. The staff and the culture at the resort was exceptional. All the staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. They all got along with each other, and went out of their way to help all the guests. They were constantly attending to the grounds and the accommodation like clearing away leaves daily and sweeping down porches from sand. It showed, the resort is well kept, tidy and feels loved. 2. Food was high quality and varied with the two restaurants. We tried both the Japanese and beachside restaurants and were blown away by the quality of both. The Japanese 10 course omakase degustation felt like an indulgent night out, while sitting on the beach side we had the best steak of our trip. Coffees are served with breakfast and lunch specials change daily. As much as it might feel frustrating paying a meal charge, Blue Lagoon put the effort in and makes it worth every dollar. 3. Both the free and paid activities varied daily and meant you were never without something to do or see. Swimming and snorkeling were right on the doorstep whenever you wanted as was a big inflatable slide into the ocean which was a delight to get on as an adult. We saw the staff choir, watched sunsets over the beach, participated in a kava ceremony and wished we had joined the night snorkel and cave trip - both of which looked like highlights. I could go on. If there is any reason I'll come back to Fiji, it will be to come back here.

We loved our stay in Mai Sunset!very relaxing, calm ,natural beach! Free coconut and mango all day long and the food was just amazing! The chef here is a good one:) it is a new resort open for few months only so everything is very clean and the stuff here is just TOP! They are all very kind and makes you feel like st home comparing to other resorts in Fiji, they are very small so you have all attention of the stuff The rooms is very nice as well, outdoor shower is just wow! Snorkling and kayaks free of charge, due to weather we couldnt go to the caves but i think it worths it! We went to the local village and school which was an experience of a lifetime for us Thank you for everything Liti, Jay, Are, Paul and everyone from the team:)

Homestay means living in a village exactly the way they live. It’s an experience of deep connection with people, nature and yourself. No comfort like air conditioning, WiFi and everything else you may expect from hotel, apartment and B&B.

Emily and guys will let you feel home. I’ve seen quite a few places in the Yasawa and this was clearly the best one, capable to let you experience what does it means to be in Fiji. You can’t skip this stage in your trip.

Tai Evi homestay was the highlight of our trip to the Yasawa islands and we wish we could've stayed for longer. It is basic accommodation but perfect for what we needed and we stayed right in the village with Silo's family. The food was delicious. There is lots to do - we saw the manta rays in the manta ray passage which is a boat trip away as well as amazing reef. The beach is also nice with some good coral as well. It was also the 1st year anniversary of the homestay whilst we were there so we had a BBQ with the family and all the guests and we helped with some of the preparation of the food. However, the highlight for us was the company and people that we met here :)

It was an absolutely wonderful stay with Vilise. He’s a very warm, welcoming, and funny person to spend time with. Every day he puts a lot of work into the property keeping it clean and well kept. The bure is huge with very comfortable mattresses and screens on the windows to keep the bugs out. In the future, they will expand to have more bures, but for now the treat of being the only guest is a treasure. He’s happy to show you around the island or beyond. I highly recommend visiting the sea caves to the north. I’ve stayed at a different homestay on Nanuya in the past, but what made me choose Voyager was all the reviews about Vilise’s cooking. It is indeed amazing and you will not go hungry. I also loved all the pups, especially my buddy Rex who was my guard dog and companion for the trip. I can’t wait to go back.
