Oarsmans Bay was an island paradise! The location is stunning with beautiful beaches, aqua blue waters and local reefs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We cant thank them enough for the lovely hospitality and excellent, well organised activities. Not too many people and it really felt like a intimate relaxed community. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, great air con and outdoor shower. Good food and we loved not having to think about it, just turn up to a nice meal. We had such a great time across our 7 nights and cannot recommend more highly. Great experience!

There are three more private cabins and dorm, all right on beach. Facilities are basic, what you would expect on remote island but lice (not sure of spelling but pronounced lee-they I think)and Jo do allot of little things like solar phone chargers, solar lights at night. I was treated like family. Lice is a great cook, but again, food is limited to local sources.blue lagoon beach is wonderful (25 minute walk) and all activities are resonably priced, bring your own rods for fishing, and bring gifts for children or some preferred food from super

Our stay in Gunu Gunu village in the Yasawa Islands was truly magical. We spent a whole week there and, from the very beginning, we felt like we were part of the village. From the little kids to the older boys on the rugby team, everyone was so curious, welcoming and always smiling. It was an amazing experience that made us feel at home in a completely different part of the world. A special thank you to Pedi and Josh for welcoming us into their home as if we were part of their family. Their kindness and hospitality made our stay unforgettable. Pedi cooked delicious meals for everyone, and she’s also a very talented card player, so be careful if you challenge her! 😂 We’ll always carry beautiful memories of this place and the wonderful people we met. If you’re looking for an authentic Fijian experience, full of warmth, connection and genuine smiles, this homestay is something truly special. Vinaka vakalevu, Pedi and Josh! ❤️

We stayed at the Red Bure in Naisisili Village on the beachfront. It’s an authentic experience with the most generous and hospitable people we’ve ever met. We loved being on the beachfront, the beautiful community here, family friendly vibes and exploring the surrounding environment of Sawa I lau and blue lagoon.

Tai Evi homestay was the highlight of our trip to the Yasawa islands and we wish we could've stayed for longer. It is basic accommodation but perfect for what we needed and we stayed right in the village with Silo's family. The food was delicious. There is lots to do - we saw the manta rays in the manta ray passage which is a boat trip away as well as amazing reef. The beach is also nice with some good coral as well. It was also the 1st year anniversary of the homestay whilst we were there so we had a BBQ with the family and all the guests and we helped with some of the preparation of the food. However, the highlight for us was the company and people that we met here :)
