We loved the place. There was everything we needed and more. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We had a lovely stay and could admire a beautiful view of the harbour. When we had a little issue with the electricity, the host responded quickly, and the problem was solved immediately. The host was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to her.

This is a stunning place with a great view of the harbour and is very conveniently located if you want to visit Kalsoy island. There is loads of space inside and the facilities are excellent. The interior is clean and spacious so you can make it feel like home while you are there. The hosts were helpful and prompt in communication too.

Klaksvik is a great central point for exploring the northern...

Klaksvik is a great central point for exploring the northern islands (Kalsoy, Vidoy, Kunoy). Second largest city so has a few restaurants, super markets and stores. We took two days to explore the northern islands which worked well. Torshavn as well as Vagar island (airport, ferry to Mykines island and the Gasadalur area) are within a 90 minute drive.

Klaksvík was a convenient and comfortable base for exploring...

Klaksvík was a convenient and comfortable base for exploring the Northern Isles of the Faroe Islands. The town is easy to navigate, with restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores within walking distance of many accommodations. We enjoyed walking around the harbor and taking in the mountain views surrounding the town. For young couples, Klaksvík works well as a place to stay while exploring nearby villages, hiking trails, and scenic drives. The town itself is relatively quiet and practical rather than a major tourist destination, but it has everything you need and provides good access to some of the most beautiful parts of the islands. Overall, Klaksvík is a pleasant and convenient stop with excellent access to the northern region of the Faroes.
