The property is exceptional, clean and aesthetic. One of the best place to chill out. Highly recommend. Owner was so friendly , responded to queries without any delays. Beautiful sea view with an outdoor seats to have a coffee in morning.

We loved everything about our stay at Jensa's. The apartment is lovely, check in could not have been any easier, and we had everything we needed for a happy stay. We stayed for 5 days in July 2025 and travelled to 6 or 7 islands from that hub. The kitchen is well equipped, allowing us to cook dinners 3 of the 5 nights. Jensa was available when needed (she lives upstairs), but otherwise inobtrusive. It was very clean. Bed and linens were lovely. Parking was at the door. By the way, the gas stations in the Faroes have great food options to cook yourself or to have prepared for you to take away or eat at their tables when you can't find a restaurant.

The location was very convenient - a short walk from the ferry terminal, and all the bits in town. The host was very friendly, and met us as we arrived. The apartment was very spacious, and had good cooking facilities, and even a washing machine, as well as somewhere to park outside. We had a great stay.

    For us, Leirvik was a base from which to explore other areas...

    For us, Leirvik was a base from which to explore other areas. We enjoyed the quiet location and water views but didn't spend time in town. Leirvik doesn't have restaurant options but that was fine with us as we prepared our own meals. We did dine one evening at the Gjaargardur Guesthouse in Gjogv, which is about 45 minutes away by car, and highly recommend that restaurant.
