We really enjoyed our stay at La Tête en l’Air. The room was spotless and nicely decorated and the food was delicious – we had dinner and a breakfast, and both were excellent and great value. The couple who run the place were also very friendly and helpful. The location in the Vosges is very picturesque and convenient for hikers and cyclists. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again :)

Beautiful hotel in a very pretty village. Room was great - loads of room as split level and very quiet as it faces fields. Breakfast very good and the restaurant was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful

We had a wonderful stay! The location is quiet and relaxed. There was a smell of flowers everywhere and in the night it was super quiet. Although the rooms are a bit older, the owners seem to do their best to keep everything neatly and in order. It was clean and we had everything we needed in our room. In my personal opinion its part of the experience, when staying in an „auberge dans les montagnes“, that the building and the rooms are not super modern but rather simple which makes the whole thing authentic. We dined there and were surprised by how good they cook, too. The puff pastry was selfmade, crunchy and buttery. It came as odeuvre and was quite a statement. The burger was made with freshly grounded meat and they even interpreted it „alsace style“, so it came with a hashbrown, sauce alsacienne and carrot puree. We also made use of the breakfast offer on the next day. It wasn’t fancy but included everything you would expect: Eggs, fresh baguette, cold cuts and cheese, marmelade, coffee, tea. Merci beaucoup for the wonderful stay and a bientôt!

Everything: food exceptional, staff friendly and helpful, snow was better than expected, swimming pool and sauna were wonderful, EV chargers were convenient. We could have stayed for longer except it was fully booked for the following night as we booked at the last minute.

Wonderful and cosy hotel along the Route des Vins!

Unique and in a beautiful location

Small and cozy, yet it offers everything we need. Gorgeous view, birds singing, comfortable rooms, spa, and whats the mist important - welcoming and supportive staff. Its quite place when you can recharge not only your own but also you e-bike batteries, breakfast is a dream.

This was our third stay at Le Kastelberg and we shall certainly be staying again in the near future.

The room size, cleanliness, the hotel’s excellent location, and the hospitality and friendliness of the staff were all very good. In terms of location, it is a lovely hotel set among the vineyards. If you have a car, I would say it is a good choice.

Nice location, very close to beautiful villages of Alsacia. Very clean, comfortable bed and wonderful host. We could also charge our electric car during the night.

Alex was an excellent host! We loved the hotel and its facilities. We could store our bikes in a lockable garage that’s already behind the gate. In the mornings we enjoyed the breakfast we got at the Boulangerie nearby. The location is perfect in between the hills, where we enjoyed hiking and cycling, and the vineyards & domaines in Andlau and nearby villages. Plenty of delicious restaurants in the village and nearby.

Very authentic location, 10 of 10. I had room with terrace view to a meadows and hills - this is the most quiet place I have ever been. Parking has 2 electric stations.

The best looking property around the area. Our stay was delightful, with amazing atmosphere and interior. Property owners were exceptional, Never seen such welcoming people in France.
