The hotel itself is great in that everything works as it should, plenty of free parking, good lighting, blackout blinds (although light comes in from the corridor round the door), the internet is ideal for work video calls, and it’s kept clean. Rooms and bathrooms are perfectly comfortable and functional, well-maintained, thoughtfully styled, warm with plenty of hot water. Breakfast is coffee, juice, toast, cereal, etc. Staff are nice. What seriously lets it down are 3 things: there are no hand basins in the toilets so you have to go back to your room and touch the keypad and door handle before washing your hands. The outside area of the hotel is littered with rubbish and cigarette ends so it needs a proper clean, and you have to walk through smokers to get in and out - it feels really icky. There are always men from third world countries hanging around in the entrance (they’re staying at the hotel) and smoking wherever they like including in corridors and rooms, walking around noisily and banging doors and talking loudly in the corridors at night, and playing videos on their phones late into the night with their bedroom doors open, and leaving the toilets in a disgusting state. If the staff would police these people to behave like respectable humans instead of reprobates the hotel would be clean, safe, and quiet enough to get some sleep.

I booked the hotel as a stopover on the way to Chamonix (and also as a cheap alternative as I didn't want to spend 200+ for one night). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the receptionist was very nice as well. For the price it's unbeatable if you are just looking for a place to spend the night in.

Location was where I needed to be. No other available hotels in area. Value.

Lovely old hotel right on Lac Leman, with a wide sandy beach. Nice newly-decorated lake view room with a lovely bathroom. Exceptionally friendly owners, good dinner; all in all a very welcoming and comfortable experience.

Cosy hotel. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Comfortable and clean rooms with balcony. Nice swimming pool and terrace. Good choice in meals and drinks. Great view over the mountains. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Great breakfast and restaurant, great situation and great welcome from staff. Excellent place for skiing or trekking.
