After a warm welcome from Christine and Max, we greatly enjoyed our delicious dinner with them. Thanks to Max for his thoughtful, tasty cooking, which was vegetarian for us. We greatly enjoyed eating together and sharing stories of our lives. Breakfast was great too with local produce, including eggs from their very own chickens, local cheese, and a range of delicious temptations. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. We slept beautifully on the great mattress. The bathroom was great. The Van Gogh theme was really nice We would certainly stay again

Perfect for a one night stop on the way to Paris from the Dordogne. The washing machine was very useful. Great secure parking. We enjoyed picking fruit in the community garden in the village!

We had a great stay, almost magical, surrounded by nature and tranquility and by things from centuries past. It really felt like in fairytale, with the castle, people playing the piano, the park with trimmed hedges, the small towers scattered about. The Lord of the castle was very friendly and talkative, he told us the history of the place and many other things and he is also curious to know your history. He is a great cook as he cooked our deliciuos dinners, a great wine conossier - he recommended us some vey good wines made on his property(we bought six bottles) and a skilled butcher - he makes some wonderful pate of wild boar(we bought some of those too). Our child loved to play with the dogs, the donkey and the sheeps and in the surrouding park in forest. All in all it was wonderful and we hope it will stay the same for years to come so we can return. Cristina, Andrei and Corvin

We loved the excellent ambience of the hotel. Parts of the building were originally within the chateau estate. The bedroom was more like an apartment with separate lounge area. the breakfast was lovely with a nice choice of charcuterie, cheese home made yoghurt with fruit compote, and homemade cakes and honey. The chateau entrance is very close to the hotel and you even get discounted entry to the chateau. Our host was exceptionally helpful and welcoming.

The lovely gardens. We sat in the cabana and had wine and hors d’oeuvres prior to having our dinner (brought with us). Everything was so clean and immaculate and Yvette was so charming and ensured our stay was everything that we wanted. A delightful lady 😃
