We came here 25 years ago, the hotel is soooo cute in an old style farm! The hotel is now even better with new owners, a modern look and so confortable! We had a room with an outside space and table, perfect for aperitif! One of the new feature we loved was the free filtered sparkling and normal water fountain and the little salon where there is a kitchenette with a microwave and all you need to have a dinner, as well as a coffee maker! Staff were so nice, it is also only a few minutes away from Chambord. There is a great safe bike garage where we could leave our bikes. Finally, right next to a supermarket, a bakery, and in a cute little village!

Because I did not travel with a car it was expensive to get there, but it was worth. The breakfast was absolute fantastic!! The lady that checked me in carry my case to the second floor for me with a big smile. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I wish i could stay longer.

Our stay at the Chateu was amazing!! It looks magnificent outside and inside, the Central Room on the First Floor was something truly spectacular!! The Restaurant and Breakfast Room were also truly impressive. The food was delicious, even the Room Service was glamourous. And they were even very thoughtful of our dog, there was already a pillow and a water bowl prepared for her. We only stayed here one night as we were passing through but we will definetly return for a longer stay!

Brilliant, really enjoyed it . I have found that 2 star / 3 Star hotels in cities in France are great ways to see the city and are great value. Avoid the chains, give the local hotel a chance, you will be well impressed. I have used Logis a few times and have been extremely happy. I love calm & relaxed, that is what I had here.

You are sleeping in a castle. A real castle. It looks like a dream, a beautiful dream. The walk around the castle is wonderful, the staff is super kind and the room is clean and comfortable. I would say WOW!

Orléans is a lovely city which we enjoyed immensely.

Orléans is a lovely city which we enjoyed immensely. We made good use of the trams to get arround the city and trains to visit neighbouring towns such as Blois and Tours. We were there when the May 8th festival commemorating both the ending of the siege of Orléans in 1429 and the ending of WW2 in Europe. The procession was wonderful. The local people were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Finally we don't drive in Europe and if we did the two week stay would have been even more enjoyable.

Ideal base for visiting châteaux along the Loire. Also Orleans & Tours Chateau Royal de Blois and Cathedral worth a visit, as well as the Denis Papin staircase. Plenty of restaurants 3 night stay seemed just right

Make sure to spend a day biking (we used Loire Bikes) in the Loire. We e-biked to Chateau de Chenononceau which was the highlight of our trip! Stunning scenery along the river, gorgeous weather, unbelievable photos! We had a fantastic dinner at Restaurant Les Arpents and at several other restaurants in town. We enjoyed our tour of Leonardo da Vinci's Chateau du Clos Luce which was easily walkable from our hotel. We highly recommend staying in Amboise - our 4 days were perfect!

We only stayed for one night.

We only stayed for one night. The town is very beautiful and wasn't very busy. Lots of places to eat, beautiful shops and the streets of the old town, were very quiet, clean and rustic. There is a magnificent cathedral in the town, worth visiting. It seemed like there was a lot more to see. We would love to visit again.

Saint Aignan is a quaint town on the river Cher.

Saint Aignan is a quaint town on the river Cher. There are lots of restaurants , shops in the town and a few bars. You need a car to get around . You can drive to places like Blois ,Tours & Montrichard for days out and visit many of the areas Chateaus. Free parking is available in all of the towns. Just put " free parking" into your google maps before you enter the town centre. Chateau Chenonceau is a must see and in my opinion the best in the area. It is worth paying the extra euros for the Chateau Chenonceau audio tour as it provides a room by room (there are 19 in total) tour ,great narration and additional, interesting information that isn't available in the free map/ brochure . In Saint Aignan ,we ate at Hestia, Venchi, Trois Chemins & La Relais. All good value and good food.

Chinon is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and cafes...

Chinon is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and cafes, a beautiful castle and a lovely river to walk along. We stayed as part of a Classic Car event which was great and the whole town embraced the cars and the visitors. We also had the opportunity to drive around some of the countryside which is just beautiful. Would not hesitate to recommend Chinon as a lovely place to visit for a few days.

A fantastic little hotel where the staff smile and are accommodating, free parking available, is in a great location, amazing breakfast buffet, very clean rooms with comfortable beds, plenty of lighting and the bathroom has great water pressure and hot water plus the shower is a very good size. We would be happy to return to this hotel!

Unfortunately we turned up Early evening on Sunday, every thing in france is pretty much shut There is a “Buffalo Grill “ very near the property, but on previous occasions visiting this restaurant chain . we have received a shocking service and substandard food. So we would never go to Buffalo Grill again.
