We came to Auberge de Crissay for the second time and it is still the same lovely place as it was when we first came here in 2019. The auberge is beautifully situated in a rural but stunning area. Flowers everywhere, friendly hosts and lovely food which is served in a field just opposite of the Auberge, so that you can admire the view while you have diner. We arrived early and luckily our room was ready. Soon thereafter we sat by the pool enjoying the nice and quiet scenery.

What a beautifully renovated château! It felt like a privilege to stay here. The wonderful decor, the comfortable and spacious bedroom, the simple but delicious breakfast enjoyed outside on the terrace. The host is as hospitable as can be, and helped arrange a wine tasting for us and booked lunch at the restaurant we wanted to go to. Our dog had so much fun, we had a hard time getting her to come with us when it was time to leave! We will definitely be back.

This was probably one of the nicest places we have stayed in our extensive travels. The apartment has been renovated to a modern standard which was nice for a change of scenery. The kitchen is well appointed and the huge table/work bench makes the stress feel bigger. The lounge is comfortable as is the mattress and the shower has 3 options including lower back and shoulders so that was a treat.. We got parking out the front and there is a nice walk around the town you can do with the incredible view of a chateau in the back ground or across the river into town
