Lots of places to taste great burgundian style Chardonnays...
Lots of places to taste great burgundian style Chardonnays as well as interesting restaurants . Can tour a number of the Caves as well as hike up in the vineyards adjacent to town. It is not a big town . A highlight was the Chablis Market on Sunday am .

If you love Chardonnay, you won't find a more pure expression of the wine than in Chablis. We've fallen in love with the town, the area, the wines, and the people. Three days isn't nearly enough.

Chablis seemed to be a town where people come to have an expensive meal and drink some fine wine. The town did not have many or any bistros, only high end restaurants that were totally booked on the night we were in town. Hence our dinner consisted of a charcuterie board at a local bar. I highly recommend reserving dinner in advance before visiting this town.

We had a congress close to the hotel. So we didn't stay beyond 1 night. We had dinner there.
Suggestion : also visit Noyers s/ Serein, not far away, medieval city. Very nice !
ATT : if you join the A6 from Noyers, you can only go south. Impossible to go back north. GPS's know. They are aware of this stupidity.

Sweet little town.
Sweet little town. An afternoon and a night there was enough for us. We found a great little restaurant for dinner and a very helpful and obliging lady in a wine shop. We came across a 12th. Century synagogue, but unfortunately it's only open once a year in July (we were there in June).

This elegant French townhouse was spacious, beautifully decorated and conveniently located in the centre of Chablis with its numerous restaurants, bars and wine houses. The jacuzzi (shared with an adjoining rental) in the cellar also looked enticing, although we didn’t use it for this short stay. Loved the secret toilet! Parking was easy with a free, open-air car park 5 minutes walk from the property.

Comfortable hotel. Good evening meal although to be presented with a 36 page wine book was somewhat over the top! We went on a wine tasting tour with Gueguen which is located only a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Lovely conversion of old mill into luxury hotel. Large bedroom and bathroom. Great breakfast room with good buffet. Central location but in quiet side street with easy on street parking in the town.

Fresh dog friendly hotel within walking distance from Chablis center. Excellent location when arriving by car. Good breakfast. The chablis wine from their own vineyard was the best we tasted
