We scheduled the room last minute and were very pleased with everything! The owner greeted us personally when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. An old priory nicely renovated in a peaceful country location, beautiful gardens with places to relax and wander. There is a pool available, but we didn't have time to use it. The breakfast was delicious. He even made us homemade pancakes. The owner definitely cares about everything, especially the gardens. We wished we could have stayed longer than one night.

Didn’t have full breakfast but tea coffee water all provided. Good. 2 children well catered for and myself needing gluten free (coeliac) had a full menu with everyone else excellent food. Wine available great.

In a very quiet little village, off the beaten track. The owners were welcoming and made space for my motorbike under cover in the gated driveway. The house is practically a castle, with guest rooms up a stone spiral staircase: obviously on ascent one considers oneself a knight heading to rest after a long day on horseback!
