Its location. Right along a most beautiful stretch of the river. We had dinner overlooking the old church and water. The food was excellent. We can fully recommend this wonderful gem

Lovely room with private balcony. Since our last visit in 2023, a lift has been installed, which makes getting to the rooms easier as the staircase is the original stone one,that is very worn and slippy in places.

It was a typical French hotel. Not too modern with plenty of character

The whole experience was exceptional. We had access to the lovely garden, where we were served an excellent coffee upon our arrival Later, during supper (again in the garden) our host surprised us with his home-made terrine de sanglier, which made a simple evening meal truly memorable. The whole setting (house & garden) is beautiful. We were welcomed like family. Breakfast consisted of beautifully presented bowls of fruit, fresh bread & home-made jams (all from fruit from the garden), an excellent 'quartre quarts', walnut biscuits and again great coffee. I recommend this experience whole-heartedly and without any reservations whatsoever. It is worth a serious detour.
