We loved the calm beautiful setting and the lovely cute wee house. We really appreciated the fresh bread, eggs, yogurt and milk. The cupboard was full of all the basics, including pasta. Everything was organic. The air conditioning and the fan kept us cool through the very hot weather.

Everything was perfect from our wonderful welcome from Marie Anne and her husband - so friendly and personable - to our sad departure after 5 nights. The room had everything we needed while we visited our daughter and family 6km away. Leaving our daughter's hot house every evening we were pleased to come back to our cool room in Doulezon and the tranquility of our surroundings for a good night's sleep. We very much appreciated the tasty petits morceaux savoureux that awaited us.

We had the absolute perfect stay at Le Prieure de Saint Pierre. We were warmly welcomed by Eric, his two lovely well-behaved labradors, and a glass of rose! Our bedroom was big, clean, beautifully decorated, and the water pressure in the shower wonderful. The pool was open, and we enjoyed a quick swim before we were off to Saint Emilion. Eric helped us with making a reservation, and we had the best French diner we've had in a very long time at l'Envers du Décors. Breakfast in the morning was served in the living room. The food was fresh, good quality coffee, and you have a beautiful view of the valley and the surrounding vineyards. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the neighborhood. Thank you Eric for the welcoming us in your beautiful home!

Everything about the chateau exceeded our expectations. The chateau has been beautifully restored and is located in a beautiful and extremely peaceful location. We felt very at home there, and Jacquie and the team made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We had breakfast outdoors every morning, overlooking the vineyard. We'll definitely be back.
