BelgiumI had been here before in private company with friends when visiting the Epernay-area. This hotel is at a beautiful spot nearby the town and in the middle of the vignards. Staff is extremely helpful, rooms are great and offer everything you need. There are 2 charging stations for electric cars , it is quiet and peaceful, despite its proximity of the route towards Reims.

Epernay is beautiful with many great restaurants and lots of things to see and do nearby. Great public transportation. The Why Not cafe is incredible. The tourist office was very helpful. There is a WWI memorial in the nearby town of Dormans. We liked Epernay because it was small. The tour at Lafond Comtesse was wonderful. Also the tour at Mercier.

Epernay is magical, and my favorite spots it has to be on Avenue de Champagne, where most of bodegas invite you to have a taste of their work with the grapes, making an exquisite Champagne. The city is very convenient and easy to navigate, getting around is full of charm and on the Place Louis-Philippe, Cafe Le Progres it’s a lovely choice for good food with good ambient, there are other nice restaurants, cafe's and bars where you can enjoy a nice meal and glass of Champagne.

We really enjoyed Épernay and found it very easy to get around and access the different Champagne houses. We also liked the variety of bars and restaurants, especially those that offered tastings as well as food, which made the experience feel relaxed and well suited to the area. The food at La Banque was excellent, and the all-day brunch at Matin Gourmand was another highlight. We also found the staff at Moët & Chandon to be welcoming and professional, and the tourism office at the town hall on Avenue de Champagne was very helpful.
Do a tour at Mercier champagne. Veuve Clicquot lunch was disappointing and not worth the money. Staff minus one (lady in the gift shop) were awful.
The Alcove restaurant 10/10!!!

The people were so friendly and there is so much to...
The people were so friendly and there is so much to experience here for families as much for couples. We traveled with our two boys ages 8 and 7 who both had an incredible time learning and experiencing the region.

This is a pretty, relaxed town with lots of casual outside cafes and restaurants. There are lots of opportunities to tour the champagne houses and their history and taste the champagnes. Everything is in easy walking distance.

Comfortable, clean and warm. The room was basic but was more than adequate for an overnight. We also had dinner, which was a buffet for starter, cheese course and sweet with a choice of dishes for main course. It was good quality and great value for money.
The standout for the accommodation was the staff, all were friendly, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive, we have rarely found this in stopover hotels in France and this made this hotel stand out as one to go back to.

Absolutely everything about the stay was exceptional! The host Laure was kind and generous. We were greeted with champagne and snacks, given a pack of homemade cookies as an extra welcome, the breakfast was superb, and the apartment so beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and large. This place is the best we stayed in during our trip to the champagne region in France. Thank you Laure.

This exceeded my expectations. If I come back to Epernay I will try to stay here. Expensive yes but was worth it imo. Service I loved it. I stay probably 75 to 100 nights a year in hotels (standard 4 stars generally), this is classed as 3 star I think but give me something like this over a standard 3-4 star hotel anyday.

It was the perfect pit stop on a long journey home through France. The staff were excellent, the location (near to the motorway) was perfect and the room was superb. Private secure parking was also such a bonus so that we could leave most of our luggage in the car overnight.

It was a low cost overnight stop with no frills when driving through France. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the loo did the same job as in an expensive hotel!
