An exceptional gem! 10 mins off the main highway but absolutely worth it! Beautiful old chateau to wander around the grounds freely and sophisticated renovation of the outbuildings, bedrooms and delightful restaurant serving superb food. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding!! Lovely walk into the little town and drink at authentic local tabac. Delightful and helpful hosts, wish I could have stayed longer!!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The evening meal was good and the breakfast was excellent. The room was warm and the beds comfortable. Location is perfect, close to the motorway but not too noisy with a Total garage on site.

Les nouveaux Ambassadeurs is located in Saint-Chamond, 14 km from Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium and 45 km from Musée des Confluences.

On arrival, we were warmly welcomed at Reception and shown to our room immediately. Everything was spotlessly clean in this hotel and we were very comfortable in our room, which was newly decorated and fitted out. We also appreciated the fan and bottles of water in this hot weather. Breakfast was a very generous continental variety with coffee, orange juice, and some very tasty nectarines as well as croissants, jam, bread and yoghurt. This was appreciated as we had a long journey ahead of us and didn't need to eat again until the evening :-) I would especially like to say that the staff at this establishment were very pleasant and were always happy to provide anything we needed. Thank you and we hope to visit you again.
