Sophie was very quick to respond to messages, friendly and helpful. Thank you! The farm setting and surrounding villages were beautiful. We loved seeing the cows in the fields around the farm. Easy parking and secure. Great place for family visits and WWI tours.

A lovely property in a nice, quiet village. The owners, Bart & Karin, were super friendly, very good company and an absolute mine of interesting information and anecdotes. The room was basic but very comfortable and perfect for my needs. Parking onsite, a lovely garden to relax in with a beer and great food - what more could you ask for!

Cozy place with boardgames and interesting decor and objects! We stayed one night but it seemed like a quiet village in the countryside and we had a restful night. There is also a friendly cat!

Fabulous hosts, providing a lovely unit with everything you need. The swimming pool and garden are available to use as your own, and was most welcome on a hot afternoon after driving all day. Useful to have a washing machine, the shower is excellent. Your own seating area immediately outside the unit. Nice French breakfast served by our lovely hosts.

Brigitte and Fabrice were perfect hosts. They welcomed us on our arrival, and were very helpful. The property is well equipped and was a good base for exploring the WW1 battlefield areas from the Somme right up to Ieper. They were very helpful and also very proud of their home, the chambres d'hote rooms and the gite. The location overlooking the beautiful lakes is so attractive.

First of all Annie was a very lovely host who was very proud, knowledgable and protective of her lovely house. She explained everything in detail regarding the general working of all of the equipement and all of the things we are allowed to do and those which we aren't allowed to do. This house has a lot of interesting history and has been in Annie's family ownership for hundreds of years, which explains the catiousness and pride she has for the place. You could almost say that this place is like living in a museum, which for me is a massive bonus and it certainly adds to the overall charm of the place. The place is very quiet, very clean and tidy with more than enough amenities for your stay, there is a secure courtyard for parking which is secured with metal gates. The village is very quiet and has some lovely surrounding countryside to explore. I would highly recommend here if you want a quirky place which has character combined with a nice, quiet and rural environment.

    We had a fabulous stay at La Grange.

    We had a fabulous stay at La Grange. Beautiful apartment, well equipped, lovely comfy bed and hospitable hosts. Loved sitting on the terrace in the evening, and going out for walks to the nearby War cemeteries. A great base for touring WW1 sites. Would love to return.
