The city center is very nice.
The city center is very nice. I's organized with care and love. We didn't have time to visit the fortress but it looked very impressive from outside. The city park is very beautiful, nice and calm. A nice place for a walk.

Beautiful historic city.
Beautiful historic city. We were just passing through, but discovered a really picturesque town to which we would gladly return. Off season for us, so the castle only had restricted opening hours, but the walk around the outside was more than adequate. Plenty of free parking around town.

Lots of fantastic views and old stone buildings.
Lots of fantastic views and old stone buildings. A well signed posted walking route covers all the places of interest in an easy way. Still worth visiting in depths of winter. The town isn't big so a couple of nights would be enough.
The town isn't big so a couple of nights would be enough. We went to a wonderful restaurant. Walked the town walk. Enjoyed the gardens. The castle is a must see and very informative. We wish the theatre has been showing something as it's such a grand building.PaulUnited Kingdom - Scored 8.08.0
