Our stay was very good, the owner provided us with a parking space, the house was sparkling clean, the room was fresh and the bed was very comfortable. The owner responded quickly to messages and was very nice. I recommend this place!

We have stayed here before. It is handy for visiting my brother in law. It is a chambre d'hôte with only one room to let which means there are no other guests and it is thus quite quiet. The proprietor, Marie, is friendly and helpful and speaks good English. She provides a most generous breakfast. The room is a little on the small side but this bothers us not at all. There is a good view from the room across a large garden which contains a small swimming pool, closed at this time of the year. The entire establishment is watched over by a fairly elderly male cat who is perfectly friendly.

Situated in Richebourg, in a historic building, 14 km from Château de Thoiry, L'ombre du Tilleul - Gîte familial is a villa with free bikes and garden.
