Peaceful countryside but not isolated. Lovely private and stunning location. Within easy driving distance to amenities. As advertised fishing, hiking and cycling in an area of outstanding beauty all from the door step. If preferred, a gentle walk around the private lake and woodland. A very smart hotel with a nice room. The bathroom in particular was excellent - large, stylish and functional. The staff were excellent too - all very friendly and helpful. And I enjoyed my evening meal in the main restaurant.
