Two of us shared a room here at the Sure Hotel on the second night of cycling from the UK to Italy. We arrived after an 81 mile ride with 4,000 feet of climbing from Calais and were given a very friendly welcome on arrival. Our bikes were put in a spacious, secure locked room just off the reception area with no problem. Our room did smell of cigarette smoke and the receptionist immediately put us in another room, no problem. There is a Mammoth restaurant just a walk away and a restaurant opposite as well so eating for 2 hungry cyclists was no problem. Really good shower, a must for travel weary cyclists and a good hairdryer for drying our post wash kit. Good breakfast to get us on our way. I seem to have said a lot of 'no problems' ha ha, and there weren't any! Very good all round. Very good price. Recommended.

The welcome was wonderful and the park is delightful. An atmosphere of calm pervades the whole place. The rooms are new and well specified. Nothing was too much trouble.

Our hosts have a beautiful home in the countryside, and it was evident from the moment we arrived that they love welcoming guests. Our accommodation was stylish, modern and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean, with everything we could possibly need. We opted to have dinner, and we were presented with a delicious home-cooked three-course meal with wine. Breakfast was equally as good - we were offered freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, fresh bread and pastries, homemade jams, cold meat and cheese, pancakes and the an omelette

The owner is super nice and generous. For example, capsules provided for the coffee machine. Different teas, snacks also. He lives in a house next door so always available if needed. Easy to locate, the building is set back from the road and has its own parking space for several cars right outside the accommodation. The owner was so kind to make space in his garage so I could park my motorcycle inside as it was raining. Inside was very comfortable and precise. The owner showed me the heating controls and the extra heater if needed to help dry my clothes. Super sleep I had!
