A charming and engaging host who enjoyed conversations on a number of interesting topics. The rural setting was perfect for a relaxing stay. We also enjoyed a walk from the property to a spot with clear view to enable me to do some night astro photography later in the evening.

Beautifully restored. Quiet. Room was extremely comfortable. Despite being off season, the hosts found plenty of things for me to do, and it was wonderful getting to know them.

Helen was so welcoming and friendly. The room was large, tea/coffee facilities and bottles of water were provided. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was really good too!! We sat on the decking in the afternoon sun. A little piece of Heaven. Breakfast was fresh and filling with lots of options. Jack and Jill (dogs) even put in an appearance and we're good company. We had a great time. Thank you Helen 😁

The host did everything possible to keep the accommodation cool in a 38 degrees. Unfortunately I had to leave before breakfast which looked amazing.
