If you're after a 5-star hotel, this is not for you, however, the French charm, the rustic feel, the slightly rural outlook within walking distance of the quaint town of Limoux made it perfect. We loved self-catering and the feeling of living in France rather than just passing through a bland hotel. The apartment was spacious and clean.

The location was excellent - quiet calm neighbourhood but very short easy walk over the river to the main town square with its cafes and restaurants. The apartment itself had plenty of space for a couple and was well equipped for a short stay. Comfortable mattress and good shower. The concierge was very responsive to messages and we were allowed an early check in at no extra cost.

The apartment is lovely, has everything you need. The host kindly provides some complimentary tea and coffee also there are cold drinks in the fridge (Coca-Cola etc) which can be bought for just a few euros. Very considerate. The apartment is very well located in central Limoux, the check in procedure is simple. Excellent air conditioning (which had thoughtfully been switched on before I arrived) and I was able to park my motorbike just outside the front door :) Very good value for money.
