Perched on the hilltop in the main square of this beautiful little village, Logis Hotel Beauséjour was a welcome home for the night. We were able to unpack the car out front before finding public parking down the road a bit. It was a Friday evening so the place was lively with locals and a few tourists. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and the friendly, welcoming tone applied to every interaction - we had drinks, dinner (which was superb) and breakfast in the quaint little bar/restaurant. A few stairs up to our rooms - no problem. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable with a good shower and is whisper quiet at night. The village square has dramatic views of the region - the mountains are beautiful (well worth a walk around at dawn or dusk). The hotel is covered in vines and offers an authentic French village experience. Very pleasant to sit at the tables out front and relax. Fun fact: Berre-Les-Alpes once featured a recording studio - Super Bear (destroyed in a forest fire in 1986) where Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, Queen and others all recorded famous albums. We will be back to enjoy the delights of this hotel again.

A lovely two bedroom apartment that can sleep up to five people. Extremely well equipped, perfectly positioned and public parking was easy to find. (We got a space right in front of the house) Shops, pharmacy, cafés and restaurants within five minutes walking. Very clear, easy to follow instructions to find house/key box. Would have loved to stay a little longer!
