What did I not like? This was absolutely perfect! From the welcome at the door, the hose for my (by then rather dirty!) bike, the warmth of the room, the bath tub, the coffee and tea facilities in the room, the breakfast of kings (and queens!), the decor... It was absolutely perfect. Just what I needed half way through a rather tough ride! The hosts are such lovely people, who take care of every detail. Fresh bread from the bakery in the morning, fresh fruit, the best coffee. Absolutely can't fault it.

This is a magical place run by Patrick and Pierre, just outside the town of Thouars. Their home is tastefully decorated and beautifully located on the grounds of a medieval abbey. My generous hosts spared no trouble making me feel literally at home. I have been on the road for a while biking from Belgium to Spain, and this has been a real treat

Boom Coeur was beautifully traditional and historic. The village was picturesque and very interesting. It was a great location to stop off on our journey south.
