Absolutely unforgettable! This charming B&B is a true hidden gem, made even more special by the warm and welcoming host, Sylvie. From the moment we arrived, her positivity and hospitality made us feel right at home. She went above and beyond, recommending and even reserving a fantastic dinner for us at La Riviera on the Loire. The evening ended perfectly with a friendly card game and a relaxing dip in the warm pool. Breakfast was a highlight—everything homemade, from the yogurt to the jams. A magical stay we didn’t want to end!

We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Mila, an absolute gem! Every detail was tasteful and carefully thought out, with a unique sense of style in each room that made the entire place feel both elegant and deeply relaxing. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a subtle sense of intimacy and care, which made perfect sense given the lovely family hosting us. The spa area, with its sauna and jacuzzi, was incredibly calming, and the pool was simply perfect: clean, beautiful, with stunning aesthetics, and ideal for relaxing (and, why not, for photos too!). We stayed just one night as a birthday gift for my partner, and it couldn’t have been more special. We truly left feeling rejuvenated and grateful. You absolutely have to try the breakfast—simply de-li-ci-ous! We’re already looking for an excuse to return. It’s the perfect peaceful escape without being too far from the city. Highly recommended!

Incorrect information.

Incorrect information. Advertised as a 5 bedroom house (which is what we wanted), but in fact has only 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are good, and 2 dreadful. No hanging space in bedrooms, or even drawers in one room! French gites are required to have smoke alarms, a fire blanket and fire extinguisher, securely fixed banister rails, a first aid kit and warning stickers on full length glazed doors. None of these were evident, nor was any information concerning the gite or its surroundings. Kitchen equipment poor - no bread knife, wooden spoons, only 1 saucepan with lid. We had to go and buy a kettle as the owner told us just to boil water in a saucepan. Three days later she arrived with a kettle. Good decking, but no umbrellas. No key box, so arrival and departure are not flexible and are inconvenient for the both the holiday maker and the owner. Wifi was said to be available throughout the gite, but none of us could locate a network and there certainly wasn't a security code. Altogether totally unacceptable as a holiday gite for adults, more suited to a group of adolescents.
