Very clean and and the double bed was a full mattress, not two mattresses pushed together. The self check in was very easy and comfortable. It was great to also have free parking right by the hotel as we were traveling by car on our way to Spain. The location was perfect for our itinerary, so we didn't have to go too far off the road.

The staff was very friendly and told me good directions on how to get to the 5th Best Christmas Market in Europe. This was an easy walk and I would stay here again if I come back some year for the Christmas Market again. The room was a very comfortable size and I had a nice bathroom. All went well. I was very happy because I had never heard of this chain of hotels before.

A wonderful secluded villa near the centre of Montbéliard , a wonderful garden and terrace, and a terrific spacious room with bath and all amenities one might need. The host makes you feel as if you were the king of France. Staying here makes you feel reborn! Have dinner here, because you will be getting a royal treatment. I loved it and will surely be back here whenever in the region (or even make a detour just to stay here).

Everything here works slowly, breakfast is basically prepared on the moment and consists on bread with different spreads, a piece of local cheese and coffee. It does not follow modern standards of hotel service but I find that to be part of the charm. One must not expect a hotel in the traditional sense of the word, this is more like an inn in a Lord of the rings movie.

The building is very old but our room was clean, bright and thoroughly charming with updated amenities and, to our surprise, the bathroom was very modern. Our room overlooked the street but was quiet and restful. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the old fortress and the old part of the city. A delicious breakfast was served in the gorgeous salon. Excellent location from which to explore Montbeliard.

I was also disappointed that the spa was only open 3-8 because you're unable to appreciate it if you're only there for a night.

He was very service minded and had a super positive vibe. His English was way better than average in la douce France. Explained where we could get dinner in town. Rooms are good on price/quality. ♥️
