The room was really nice and clean. Breakfast was pretty good—there was enough of everything, even if the selection wasn’t huge. The hotel’s location was great, and we had dinner at a lovely restaurant nearby.

We loved all the upgrades this hotel made in recent times. The breakfast place is spacious, open, and comfortable. The outside parking has 6 (!) dedicated EV chargers, of which 4 are super fast CCS ones, and 2 regular Type 2 (which we used). And the staff was truly marvelous, very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Finally, we liked the location, close to the city center, though the station neighborhood definitely isn't Nancy's finest.

I only had two hours before my train back, but I managed a...

I only had two hours before my train back, but I managed a quick stroll around the city. Nancy is beautiful - Place Stanislas is stunning, and the Parc de la Pépinière is fantastic with great facilities. I’ll definitely be back.

Nancy -- where every type of European architecture is...

Nancy -- where every type of European architecture is available - medieval, Northern Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassical, Gothic Revival, and most wonderful and amazing of all, the Ècole de Nancy, second only to Paris for L'Art Nouveau. Plus, the Museum of Fine Arts provided another painting for my quest to see everything painted by the Italian Baroque artist, Caravaggio.

Everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect. There was everything in the compact apartment that you could need. A lovely terrace and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Lovely and warm. Very convenient to explore the city. Close to all amenities Very secure easy parking. Host responded very quickly to any question.

The architecture was the main attraction for me; the Art Nouveau buildings are of particular interest, and there is a museum showcasing the wonderful glass that was made here in the early 20th century. Place Stanislas is a beautiful square, with many restaurants and shops to draw your attention. It's easy to get around either on foot or on the bus. There's a free naviette that goes between the square and the train station, passing through the oldest parts of the city. The entire bus system is free on weekends too. We enjoyed the Brasserie Stanislas for its Boeuf Bourgignon and the Excelsior for its Art Nouveau interior. The food and service gets mixed reviews online, but we thought booth were excellent. You really can't go wrong with any of the local restaurants, but don't expect the local pizza and tacos to be anything like their US equivalents.

Nancy exceeded our expectations: a richly interesting, beautiful, historically fascinating small city, walkable, with good public transport and lovely food and drink. Recommended for lovers of art nouveau and art deco, the work of architect/designer Jean Prouvé, fine and decorative arts in general, architecture and industrial history. We particularly enjoyed the Musee des Beaux Arts, Parc Pepiniere, central food market, Thermal Baths and Maison Majorelle.

It was your first staying in Nancy, the weather was perfect. My wife and my self were impressed by the Architecture, a lot of place to drink and eat. So many nice people outside. We were relax filling secure. We will come back.

The place is good! Everything in the hotel is brand new. The rooms are very small, there is no wardrobe, just a shelf and a hanger - this is Ibis after all. The bathroom is comfortable. The place is quiet and peaceful - we faced an inner courtyard, it should be taken into account that there is a big boulevard in front. Just a 5-7 minute walk from the center of Nancy. We came by car - there is a convenient underground parking lot.

It was our third time staying at this hotel as it's the perfect location for us driving from the Netherlands after work, arrive in the later evening, enjoy the welcome drink, go to bed, sleep well and continue on to the South of France very refreshed the next morning. It's just off the high way and a very personable hotel compared to some of the non-descript highway side hotels. Enjoy!

Spacious and close to main roads - which we wanted as a stop off on the way through France. However, close enough to get to the centre of town if you want to explore. Restaurant on site or a few within walking distance. Breakfast was great. Lots of options and healthy too.
