Just loved staying here. The location is rural, which means it is quiet! The facilities are clean, warm and comfortable. Loved the log fire in the sitting/dining room, which meant we could sit comfortably and discuss the day and our plans! The breakfast was typical French and more than enough with a choice of teas and coffee. Would have loved to stay longer. Note: if you do not have a vehicle, this may not be the best place for you, as you will have to rely on buses. Cycling is, of course, an option.

Absolutely wonderful place with views of the surrounding fields and orchard. Modern and decorated with great taste. The accommodation had everything you need: dishwasher, TV, free WIFI, microwave, oven, hobs, coffee machine with capsules, kettle, comfortable bed, hairdryer, reversible hot/cold aircon units, a large decked and covered terrace with table and chairs for outdoor dining and parking. You collect the keys via a safe box with a code. The hosts live next door and are available if needed.

The host Christine is a jewel. She is so kind and generous. The apartment itself is neat and clean (new renovation) properly equipped with everything you need. Rooms are spacious good for 4 persons. The location is in a quaint village in Lagarde and I truly appreciated that I am surrounded by nature. Calm and quiet place and if you need an escape from city life this is your place. 1,5 hours drive to Strasbourg, 1 hour drive to Nancy 1,5 hrs drive to Metz. Luxembourg, Germany and Belgium borders easily can be accessed from Lagarde.

It was absolutely gorgeous, the food was farm to table and the Chateau is a part of living history. Mr.David is an incredible host and the sightseeing recommendations were spot on. It is the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and enjoy the French countryside.

This is probably the best value hotel I have ever used! The rooms are fine, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and the breakfast is exceptional. All this at a very reasonable price. Then there is Patrick, truly a one-off! Formidable! Free car park, an enormous shopping centre just down the road and very easy to find. Highly recommended.

Was everything perfect. The location, the room, excelente shower, excelente bed. The recepcionist was so kind. I'm.not sure if his name was Maurice or Amauri, but he made our stay just great! Highly recommend.
