The area is really beautiful, peaceful and lots of birds. The owner was really kind and helpful. Very good facilities for cooking comfortably and a barbecue. It was useful to have two bathrooms. It was a wonderful surprise to find a good sharp knife too, a rarity in most accommodation! It felt very private and secluded, yet when we asked the owner for some matches for the barbecue she was there in minutes! It was also really helpful to have a few pantry basics, especially after a few long flights to get here and a long drive from Paris.

Very well organised hotel. Reception was closed when I arrived, but I was given all that was necessary to gain access to my room with no problems. The bed was comfortable, the shower was very good and the room was very clean. Would fully recommend.

We had the best stay of the holiday here. Room was a triple, so lots of space with a private bathroom, all impeccably clean. From the moment we checked in till the moment we left the next day, the staff were wonderful They were very helpful and accommodating and were obviously passionate about the food and wines they sold. Went to the courtyard restaurant at the back of the property, We had the full menu and EVERY. SINGLE. dish was inventive, and amazingly tasty. Wine was excellent, and the owner was a big fan of rum and let us taste some beauties. The couple who run this place can't do enough for guests. Next time we're back in the area, we're definitely staying here. Just 100m down the hill there's a lovely walk round the little lake in the village which was gorgeous in the early morning.
