The camp is tucked down a no through road within metres of the lake so perfect for taking out your paddleboard or going for a swim. The bike/foot trail from the camp takes you in either direction around the lake within a few minutes. Nearby restaurant and food truck at a campsite beach as well as water skiing facilities. The tents are really comfortable and it was lovely to sleep with the cover off and looking at the stars at night. Compost toilets and showers really easy to use. Breakfast was great. Homemade pancakes, bread, coffee, juice, lemon curd, honey, jams and much more. Lovely start to the day. Would certainly recommend as an alternative to a busy campsite or for those who enjoy something different.

Very quiet, comfortable. Helpful manager who spoke a little English. Very quirky decor! Choice of restaurants in village 3km away. Nice fresh bread and plenty of coffee for breakfast.

This is an extremely well appointed property and we had a wonderful welcome and great conversations. The temperature outside was 36°, but the room was cool and extremely comfortable. There is a lovely sofa and chairs on the first floor sitting area outside the room as well. We had an excellent dinner which was very good value, and a good ambiance. Breakfast was comprehensive, and the bread was fresh from the boulangerie (not the reheated version!). We went for a walk in the extensive grounds and there is very good private parking.
