A picture perfect exceptional quality and value guest house but “ guest house” doesn’t do it justice.The location ,on the edge of a traditional champagne region village within the Duval estate is perfect .we travelled in winter but can imagine it would be perfect through summer and wine harvest September. What made it special though was our host Liliane ,thoughtful considered and “ spot on” in everything offered and accommodated. Meals both breakfast and 5 course dinner ( with of course exceptional champagne and wine was definitely premium standard). Faultless .

His love for taking care of his customers and making them happy is what Laurent drive's. What an absolutely amazing place to stay. The house is enormous and incredibly well fitted out. 2 lovely large bedrooms, huge kitchen/diner and modern bathroom. The patio and garden is perfect for sitting outside day or night with the addition of a BBQ for cooking. Essoyes is a beautiful little town in the lesser visited Core de Bar region of Champagne, there's lots of independent producers to visit nearby, lovely cafe, restaurant, boulangerie etc and a supermarket a short drive away. I hope to visit again and spend some more time.

Our room was very clean, dinner was great ( buffet drink included) we had to leave early so we didn't get to try breakfast , maybe self checkout? Definitely be back 🙂
