The family who runs the accommodation makes everything to make you feel at home. Beautiful house, garden and rooms with lots of charm. Located in a very calm area. Breakfast is great and the WLAN is stable and fast. A good starting point for exploring the history of D-Day, for example. Communication was always excellent. We highly recommend the accommodation.

The apartment was complete with everything we needed, and also very clean and organized. Beds were comfortable. There is no parking onsite, but none is needed. Parking on the street was very easy. The spot accross the house was always open throughout our stay. Host promptly answered any questions we had.

Celine and Jerome are very good hosts! we stayed one night after visiting all the landing beaches. The location is in countryside and it’s very quiet in the evening and morning. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. there are many cats and a sweet giant dog

Saon is no more than a lovely old church and a scattering of...

Saon is no more than a lovely old church and a scattering of houses. The nearest town, Le Molay Littry, less than 10 minutes in the car, has all essentials. Bayeux is about 20 minutes, cathedral etc, the nearest D-Day beach is Omaha, which is a similar distance. Also worth visiting are the Pegasus Bridge Museum and the Airborne Museum (American) in St Mere Eglise, both of which are around 40 minutes drive away. St Vaast la Hougue, north east of Sainte Mere Eglise, just over an hour, is an attractive harbour with a good choice of restaurants.
