Very modern hotel with spacious rooms. The gym is very large and perfect for anyone who likes lifting weights and cardio. It’s a spacious hotel with modern rooms, comfortable beds and new air conditioning units. Staff were friendly and attentive and helped us with arranging to have twin beds instead of doubles late on in the evening.

The customer service was excellent, breakfast delicious, rooms and gardens wonderful, sitting room has a pool table, games to play, delightful view of the garden, spa and sauna, private secure parking, close to the supermarket, petrol station, old town, but once you enter the property it’s like in another world, just excellent

Rooms comfortable & clean. Excellent location for our trip, visiting World War 1 memorials. Restaurant highly recommended. We had a delicious evening meal with excellent service. Breakfast also very good.

The staff made this stay exceptional. Due to a large booking being cancelled we were one of only 2 bookings for the night, because of this the staff forgot we wanted breakfast. However, they rectified this by organising a beautiful, fresh and filling breakfast. They went one step further and gave it to us in the house as an apology. It was very appreciated.

The photos don’t do it justice!

The photos don’t do it justice! Property has a terrace which looks over beautiful gardens with its own personal moat! House itself is very spacious and full of character. Very easy drive from Dunkirk ferry terminal. Bergues is approx ten minutes drive and well worth a visit - lovely historical, walled town with traditional market on Sunday. Hosts were very welcoming and on hand to answer any questions.

Non-touristy French town with friendly locals.

Non-touristy French town with friendly locals. LIDL and Leclerc supermarkets just a few minutes walk from the hotel, MacDonalds also within walking distance for those who need their fix. Well positioned for Belgium day trips and Dunkirk, easy access to main travel routes. DFDS ferry just 20 minutes by car. Clean, well-kept properties all around and beautiful agricultural scenery.

This is our second visit to this beautiful property in 2023. We actually took the ferry from rather than Calais so we could stay here for a night! We love the ambience in this property. Another fabulous stay.....beautiful room overlooking the garden. Again, breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Cannot fault this hotel. We will be back...... Thank you!

Clean, warm comfortable and safe parking. Breakfast arrangements slightly strange but clearly in a transitional period. Member of staff providing breakfast for hotel guests could not have done more to make it a pleasant experience if slightly strange.
