The old post office in a lovely village location with great amenities and 2 superb owners and hosts who couldn’t have been more attentive.Dinner was delicious super value at 15 Euros for 3 courses and a great wine at 2 euros a glass.

Our stay at Moulin de Villsaint was fantastic! It truly is a little piece of heaven—perfect if you’re looking to escape into the forest and enjoy a break from the city. We stayed for two nights and found it both convenient and very clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plus, the view of the forest and river from every window was breathtaking, and the soothing sound of the river is pure magic for the soul. A big thank you to Brian and Christine for being such wonderful hosts!

The main selling point of this hotel is its location set right on the edge of the lake. We booked a double room with balcony overlooking the lake and were afforded stunning views. The weather during our visit was poor and so we were unable to do as much walking as we had planned, but the whole area is beautiful and well worth exploring if you get the opportunity. Due to the weather we decided to eat in the hotel that evening and to be honest we were glad that we did as the food was delicious and the service excellent. It was a set 3 course menu with a couple of options per course and we really enjoyed it. Breakfast was the same with plenty of choice available and excellent views over the lake from the dining room

We stopped in the town because of a thunderstorm, & being on a motorcycle didn’t want to travel further. We decided to stay here, what a great piece of luck. Yes, the decor is dated, but go with the flow & you’ll love it. Impeccably kept, with a kind hostess. We stayed for dinner & had the best meal of our two week stay in France.
