We stayed in Chateau du Bu for 3 nights, and it was a perfect experience. The chateau is beautiful, quiet, and very well-maintained. The facilities of the chateau and rooms are abundant and modern. We can even enjoy Netflix for free. The salon and dining room of the chateau were cozy, and we enjoyed the sunset there. The surroundings of the chateau are really nice; such a huge and beautiful area belongs to you. Breakfast was ordered with additional cost, but it was substantial. The chateau is 10 minutes' driving distance from a town with Carrefour and restaurants.

Gaiety and elegance are the two words which automatically spring to mind to describe this magnificent 18th-century chateau, a listed building set amongst exquisite French gardens and parkland.

Wonderful property, the hotel is a historic building, decor and rooms are great! There is an immense park and wonderful gardens. The atmosphere is extremely calm and relaxed, you just enjoy beauty and nature. Service and staff are excellent, food is wonderful. We enjoyed every moment!

The room is located on top of the cafe bar and it was bright and airy. The bathroom was extremely clean and very good for one night stay for me. Towels etc were also provided.

An absolutely perfect experience. The owner stands out for her extraordinary kindness, politeness, and a natural warmth that instantly makes you feel at home. The room was very nice and spotlessly clean, featuring a very comfortable bed that ensured an excellent night's sleep. Special praise goes to the highly personalized service: I specifically requested eggs, bacon, and bananas for breakfast, and she prepared everything promptly and to an excellent standard. The property is set in an extremely peaceful location, making it a quiet place to relax. Given the high level of service and the versatility of the environment, I highly recommend it for both business travel and leisure. I will certainly return. Highly recommended.

We loved Maison Thalene. Theo was a warm and helpful host. The pod and location is unique we loved stargazing, feeding the goats and horses. Mason Thalene is a beautiful and peaceful retreat. Highly recommended
