It’s a very nice hotel run by a very kind and professional team. The whole place has full of charm. Room is clean and cozy. We had a nice stay there. And our kids enjoyed a lot their peaceful garden. You have to try the restaurant in the hotel, their food is very delicious and authentic.

Les Lodges de Socrate is situated on the riverbank of the Eure with easy access by car and also to the hiking trails. The hotel has a unique character, is very clean and very spacious rooms. Highly recommended. The menu in the restaurant has less options but the food is excellent.

It is an exceptional place to stay, the restaurant, the breakfast, the pool, the bedroom and the welcoming staff, I fully recommend anyone to visit this nice location, it is also nearby many nice place to visit.

The welcome was great. Good English spoken which is always an unexpected bonus. The front desk guy went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He brought a fan to our room before we thought of asking for one. He offered us a kettle and some cups. First class service
